"Are you sure about this? I mean...this doesn't seem like a very good idea." Alex complains.

I called a 'mom' conference, and assembled Alex, Hope, Tobin, Ali and myself to talk about the issues that Jack and Cody are having.

We're all in agreement that they need to sit down and talk everything out, because neither of them are opening up about what really happened to anyone. They're best friends, and if it means that I have to sacrifice my ship just to have them happy and in each other's lives again - then I will.

No matter how much I want my ship to sail.

"I'm...65% sure." I admit, not feeling entirely comfortable with our plan. Okay - with my  plan. "But text her anyway, and I'll text Jack. They'll both show up here and we'll lock the door."

"This sounds like a really bad idea." Tobin mumbles while Ali nods her head in agreement.

"Okay, I admit, it's probably gonna backfire-"

"Probably?" Hope sasses, finally opening her mouth.

"Okay - definitely - but I think we can all agree that those two are stubborn little shits, and need our help to make them talk."

"I hate to admit it, Worms, but you have a point. Cody won't even tell me why they're fighting, and why she's not letting Jack try and apologize." Alex tells the room as she focuses on her phone, rapidly typing away before looking back up at me and sighing. "Okay, I've sent the text."

I follow my best friend's lead and begin to type a message to Jack, asking her to come to my hotel room and that Hope and myself need to have a serious talk with her.

This is not going to end well.

Today is Australia's off day, so I finally have a chance to catch up with my favorite Aussie - Ellie. It was awkward at first, since I hadn't really spoken to her since Jack cheated on her, but we powered through that phase and now it's back to normal. She doesn't even seem to mind that I had...something  with Jack.

"C'mon, focus child!" Ellie yells at me as we walk around the small fair that we found. We've spent the last hour or so playing games and wasting our money.

"Fuck you, you're a child, too!"

"Look at your maturity shining through" She grins at me, making me want to throw the baseball at her head and not the bottles on the shelf which I'm positive are glued to the surface. "So, you signed up with Arsenal?" She asks me as we finally give up, not because we really want to but because we have no money left.

"I did."

"Why Arsenal?" She asks as we leave the fair, heading back to the hotel.

"I like their style, they have good players. To play alongside Kim Little was always a dream of mine."

"That's not all, is it?" Ellie guides me to a small bench on the outskirts of the fair.

"I had to get out of Idaho-"

"Because of Jack?" She cuts me off.

"No. Well, not at that moment." I chuckle humorlessly "Worked out like that though. Anyway." I clear my throat before continuing, "The trial starts in a few months and I felt...trapped. I feel like I need to do this just to prove to myself that I can. I needed a fresh start, but it's not went so well, drama seems to follow me." I let my head drop into my hands and feel Ellie rub my back slowly.
