A/N - Dont hate me.

The previous evening was relatively quiet - with small moments of chaos, what with Kelley and Jeri under the same roof - but it ended as most nights usually do, peacefully.

Cody had taken advantage of the room Alex set aside just for her, even though Cody wasn't living with her mother, Alex always wanted to make sure her daughter knew that she was wanted in Orlando and so set up a quiet bedroom for the younger brunette, which included a keyboard - it was easily Cody's favorite part.

Unlike the other rooms of the house, Cody had her room all to herself. She offered to share with Jack, and the blonde had agreed, telling her best friend that she'll 'be back in a minute', only to disappear for the remainder of the night. Cody had her suspicions but decided against investigating, choosing instead to plug her headphones into the keyboard and play for a few hours.

She definitely needed to get one for herself.

The one thing she hadn't expected the following morning was to find arms wrapped around her. She slowly shook off the flashbacks that accompanied unwarrented touching no matter how innocent and slowly turned to find that it was Alex in her bed, holding onto her daughter for life, as though she would dissolve into thin air at any given moment.

The two eventually made their way downstairs to find Pam already in the kitchen making coffee and waffles.

"What do vegans even have for breakfast?" Cody sasses as Pamela watches Cody and Alex's bickering, a small smile on her face. "Water?"

The sound of knocking on the door interrupted the three - well, two. Pamela was like a spectator watching a train-wreck Trump interview.

The knocking was only momentarily drowned out by a thud and a groan coming from the living room, where some of the players were, including Christen who was lying on the couch and Jack who was on the floor.

"What the fuck is going on?! Is it immigration?"

"You're from Idaho, jackass." Cody muttered as she raised an eyebrow at her friend who was infront of the couch Press was on. "So that's where you were last night."

"You sound like a jealous wife," Kelley chuckles before coughing and standing to follow Alex to answer the front door.

"You're so early, what the-"

"Come on in," Alex smiles, wrapping the taller woman in a hug. It had been far too long since she had spent any time with the ex-pro.

The tall brunette walks silently into the house, taking note of all her old teammates that were sprawled out on the couches, and some on the floor.

"Oh...hey," Kelley mumbled. As far as morning's go, this one wasn't her favorite.

"Kelley." Hope greeted with a small nod before her eyes find Jack running towards her, and the two engulf one another in a hug.

"I missed you," Jack sniffled into Hope's shoulder as the older woman carried the extra weight of the still upset younger girl.

"I missed you, too."

By the time that Hope had let Jack go, the rest of the adults had congregated in the kitchen. Coffee was on everyone's menu that morning. Alex already on her third cup due to a nightmare disrupted night.
