Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

Drunken state part 1

Dianne's POV

We had just completed our last show in Glasgow for the Strictly Tour and we had a day off tomorrow so everyone decided they where going to let their hair down tonight. We had decided we where going to go to a bar round the corner from the venue. Once we where ready we all met down in the lobby and made out way round to the bar. Once we got there we all had quite a few drinks and was having a good time dancing the night away.

It had just gone midnight and I was fairly tipsy but i could see Joe was very drunk. He was on the middle of the dance floor with some of the Strictly guys strutting his stuff. I made my way over to him and gave him a cuddle and tried to kiss him. He moved his head back from me and pushed me off of him. I frowned at him and said 'what's wrong.' In his drunken state he started mumbling 'no kissing me, I have a girlfriend and I love her very much. She is cute, funny and beautiful and I would never cheat on her.' I was confused and then realised that he didn't know it was me in his state. He thought someone was trying it on with him. He stumbled off to a booth that some of the Strictly gang where sitting at before laying down across one of the chairs. I stood still for a second before I heard awww's from behind me. I turned around to see Amy, Ashley, Stacey and Janette standing there with their hands on their chests. 'That was adorable' said Ashley. 'He is completely out of it, he didn't even realise it was you' said Amy. We slowly made our way over to the booth and I realised Joe had fallen asleep across the chair.

Janette started telling the group what had happened on the dance floor. Everyone looked at me and awwed. I could feel my self going red. 'He loves you so much' said Johannes. 'I know' I said as I squeezed in the space next to Joe. I slowly run my fingers through his hair. As his eyes started to open I said 'Joe baby wake up, let's go back to the hotel.' He slowly sat up and looked at me. 'I love you baby' he said and stood up walking as best as he could towards the door. Once we made our way outside we jumped in a cab and made our way back to the hotel.

With great difficult we made our way back to the room Joe stumbling every so often.  Once we got to the room I helped Joe strip down to his boxers and helped him into bed. I went into the bathroom and got changed, took off my makeup and brushed my teeth. I walked back into the room and could see that Joe was already asleep on his side of the bed I crawled into bed next to him and turned off the light. I felt Joe move next to me then I felt a arm snake around my waist and him cuddle into me. 'Love you babe' he said before he was out of it again. 'I love you too' I whispered into the dark before I fell asleep snuggled up to him.
