Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

Jealously

Dianne's POV

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 was in full swing. I was partnered with an athlete this year called Colin. He was doing really well and seemed to pick up the routines quite quick. The only downside was I wasn't seeing Joe as much I would like to. I was leaving early in the morning around nine and wasn't getting home until around eight in the evening. By that time I was so tired that all I did was eat, have a shower and then go to bed.

We had just finished our second day of training in the fourth week and I had just ordered my Uber home. I said bye to Colin and made my way outside where my car was waiting. In no time the Uber pulled up outside our house and I jumped out, thanking the driver. I made my way into the house finding Joe in the kitchen cooking dinner. 'Hey babe, how was your day' I asked walking over to him and placing a kiss on his lips before sitting down on one of the stools. 'It was good, I just had a few meetings' he said 'how was yours.' 'It's going really well, he is picking up this dance really quickly' I said. 'That's good' he replied 'I hope your hungry dinner will be ready soon.' He plated up the food and we sat down side my side talking as we ate. As we where eating I decided to ask him if he wanted to come and see rehearsals tomorrow. 'I feel like I don't really get to spend much time with you at the moment' I said. 'I would love to come baby. I miss watching you dance so much' he said.

The next morning we both got up at the same time getting ready to go to the studio. We got into the Uber and got to the studio before Colin did. I put the music on having a quick run through of the steps. As I finished I heard clapping and looked over to see a Joe clapping. I smiled at him and walked over to him for a hug. Just then Colin walked into the room 'Morning Dianne' he said as he went and sat down changing into his dance shoes. 'Morning' I said 'this is Joe my boyfriend he is just gonna watch us for a little while. I hope you don't mind' I said. 'No that's fine' he said. He turned to look at Joe and said hi to him, Joe returning the greeting. Joe then walked over to one of the benches at the side of the studio and sat down. We where doing the foxtrot this week so I turned on the music and we got into hold. We run through the whole dance and it went really well. I pulled back and said 'that was brilliant.' 'Thanks' he replied giving me a hug. I turned to look at Joe and saw a look on his face that I couldn't place. 'Shall we have a break' I asked. 'Yeah I'm gonna go and get some air' Colin said as he walked out of the studio.

I walked over to Joe and sat down next to him. 'What did you think' I asked. 'It was good' he said without looking at me. 'What's up babe' I asked. 'Nothing' he replied. I moved closer to him placing my hand on top of his. He immediately moved his hand away my hand falling onto the bench. I looked up at him but he won't give me eye contact 'seriously what's wrong' I asked. 'You and Colin seem to be getting on really well. You seem really close' he said. 'Joe' I said waiting for him to look at me 'are you jealous' I asked. He said nothing for a few seconds before saying 'yes. He gets to spend everyday, eleven or twelve hours a day with you. You have to be so close and I can't help but feel a little jealous.' 'Joe nothing is ever going to happen between me and Colin. We are just friends. I love you so much and I would never do anything to ruin our relationship.' I said. 'I know you won't, I trust you explicitly that's not why I'm jealous.' 'Then I don't understand' I said with a confused look on my face. 'I'm jealous because he gets to dance with you and spend all this time with you. I miss when me and you danced together.' 'Aww' I said 'I miss that time as well.' 'I wish we could go back to that time' he said wrapping his arms around me. 'We have all the time in the world' I said 'I plan on spending the rest of my life with you.' He moved back and looked me in the eye a massive smile on his lips. He lent forward and placed a kiss on my lips. 'I love you so much' he said. 'I'm gonna head home now I'll see you at home later.' 'Love you too' I reply as he kissed me again.
