Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

The Final

Joe's POV

Today was the final of Strictly Come Dancing and I was really looking forward to it. I couldn't help but think how lucky I was. At the start of the competition I couldn't dance and I hadn't had a relationship since I was sixteen. Through this competition I had not only learnt to dance I had also found the love of my life, the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I got ready and made my way to the studio, walking into my dressing room to find Dianne sitting on the sofa. 'Morning' she said 'how are you feeling about today.' 'Morning' I said to her walking over to her and placing a kiss on her lips. 'I'm feeling really good. Even if we don't win I still found you and I can't help but feel really excited about what our future holds.' A massive smile spread across her face as I took her into my arms.

It was now later on in the day and we had just finished our last dance of the competition. I couldn't help but feel a little sad that I won't be dancing with Dianne anymore. There was nothing more we could do now we just had to wait and see. Me and Dianne sat down in Claudia's area whilst all the celebrities from this year did a little dance. I made sure I kept a hold of Dianne's hand as we watched them all. Once they had finished it was time to find out who the winner of this years Strictly Come Dancing was. We made our way back onto the floor and I wrapped my arms around Dianne's waist. The tense music started to play as we waited for Tess to announce the result. 'The winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2018 is ........ Joe and Dianne' Tess announced. I couldn't believe it. Dianne dropped down to the floor in shock and I reached down gathering her in my arms. We stood together in our own little bubble. I pulled back from her and could see the tears in her eyes.

As I saw how happy she was I wanted nothing more then to kiss her. I decided I had nothing to lose. The competition had finished now and I wanted everyone to know about us. I lent down placing a passionate kiss on Dianne's lips. After a minute or so I pulled away to see a massive smile on Dianne's face. The noise from the crowd quieten down and Tess and Claudia walked over to us. 'So I guess the glitter all isn't the only thing we have to congratulate you on' Claudia said 'you make such a brilliant couple.' I looked up at her and smiled 'Thanks' I said. 'Is there anything you want to say to each other' Tess asked. I turned to look at Dianne and said 'when I first started this competition I never thought I would get this far. You have taught me so much. Not only how to dance but about myself. I am so much more confident since I met you. You are an incredible person and I love you so much.' A collective aww came from the audience and all of the people on the floor. I could feel myself start to blush but I knew that it was all true. I lent across and pecked her lips. 'Dianne is there anything you want to say' Claudia asked. 'All I can say is it has been incredible going on this journey with you. I thank my lucky stars everyday that we where partnered together and I can't wait to see what our future holds. I love you so much.' I wrapped my arms around her placing a passionate kiss on her lips before the glitterball was handed to us. We held it in the air as everyone clapped again. I lent across placing another kiss on her lips 'I love you' I said pulling away from her. 'I love you too' she said as we celebrated our win.
