Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

Dianne's POV

Me and Joe had been together for nearly two years now and I was starting to get very broody. All my friends around me where starting to have kids and I felt like I was ready to start having them. Me and Joe had the conversation about kids when we first got together and we both wanted them I just wasn't sure whether he was ready yet. We where sitting in front of the tv watching a film when I decided I just needed to ask him. I paused the film and looked up at him 'joe can I talk to you about something' I said. 'Sure babe, what's up' he replied. 'Well I've been thinking' I said 'and I feel like I'm ready to start having kids. How do you feel about that.' I looked up into his eyes waiting for a reply. I could see that he was a bit shocked and that wasn't what he had expected me to say.

Joe's POV

Me and Di where watching a film when she paused it and told me she needed to talk to me about something. I turned to look at her and she took a deep breath and told me that she was ready to start having children. I was a bit shocked. I know we had talked about children and I knew we both wanted them but I didn't know that she was ready to have them now. I sat there thinking about it for a few minutes. Was I ready to have children yet. I thought about Dianne and how much I loved her. I knew she was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I thought about a mini Dianne running round the house or a mini Joe and I couldn't stop the massive smile that spread across my face. Yes I thought to myself I am ready to have kids. I lifted my head up and looked Dianne straight in the eyes. 'Yes' I replied 'I'm ready as well. I can't wait to have a mini Dianne or a mini Joe running around the house.' Her face turned into a massive grin and we where smiling at each other like a pair of idiots. I pulled her into a hug placing a passionate kiss on her lips. I pulled away and looked her in the eye 'when do you want to start trying' I said. 'Well I need to come off my pill first' she replied. 'How about you come off it now and we can start trying straight away' I said. She stood up and walked over to her bag pulling her pill out of it. She walked back over to me and grabbed my hand pulling me up. We walked into the kitchen and she opened the bin throwing the pill into them. 'I love you so much I can't wait to start a family with you' I said.' 'I love you too' she replied 'I can't wait to have our own little family.' I pulled her into a hug not believing how lucky I was to have the perfect women that wanted to have children with me.
