Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

Not well

Joe's POV

I had just got to the hotel in London and I was waiting for Dianne to get here. She was getting the coach down with all the Strictly guys ready for their London show tomorrow. I was so excited to see her as I hadn't seen her in four days. I put all my stuff in the wardrobe and then decided to watch something on my laptop whilst I waited for Dianne to get here.

Dianne's POV

We where half an hour away from the hotel we where staying in London. I felt like utter crap. I was feeling dizzy, sick, hot and I had a pounding headache. I hadn't felt right for the last couple of days and I just wanted to get to the hotel and go to sleep and hopefully I would feel better tomorrow. We finally got to the hotel and I grabbed my bag and made my way to the reception grabbing the key for my room. I felt like I could cry myself to sleep right now as I felt so ill. I got in the lift up to my room and placed the key card in the door to open it. I pushed the door open and saw the light was on in the room. That's when I saw Joe on the bed. I forgot he was coming to the hotel today. I couldn't help myself, the minute I placed my bag down on the floor I burst into tears.

Joe's POV

I heard the door open so I turned my head towards it. I saw Dianne place her bag on the floor and before I could get up she had burst into tears. I got off the bed as quick as I could going straight over to her and wrapping my arms around her. 'Shh shh baby, it's alright.' I knew she wasn't feeling very well because she had told me but I didn't think she was feeling this bad. I gently picked her up keeping her wrapped in my arms and walked her over to the bed. I gently laid her down and then got in next to her. She snuggled straight into my arms still crying. 'Do you feel that bad' I asked. 'Yeah' she said 'I fell really dizzy and sick and I keep going from hot to cold.' 'Aah baby, what can I do to make you feel better' I asked. 'Just snuggle with me, you make me feel better just being here' she said. 'Okay baby' I said. I gently started rocking her back and forth in my arms whilst she was on my chest. I reached my hand up and started to stroke her hair and started to sing rainbow connection to her. I knew she loved the song before we danced it together and loved it even more now as it was the week we admitted we had feelings for each other. I had been singing for about five minutes when I noticed she had fallen asleep. I leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead 'feel better soon baby, I love you so much' I said as I drifted off to sleep with her in my arms.

Dianne's POV

When I woke up the next morning I felt much better. I looked to the side to see Joe looking at me. 'How you feeling this morning baby' he said. 'Alot better, thanks for looking after me' I said. 'You don't have to thank me, I will always be here for you. I love you so much I just want to be the one here to comfort you when your not feeling very well' he said. 'Thanks' I replied. 'How about we just relax until your show tonight, spend some time together' he said. I snuggled down into his arms whilst he turned the tv on. He lent over and kissed me 'I love you so much' he said. 'I love you too' I replied as we enjoyed our morning together.
