Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

Drunken state- morning after

Joe's POV

I woke up with an absolute banging headache. I don't remember very much from last night apart from drinking a lot and Dianne having to help me get ready for bed. I slowly opened by eyes and then turned to the side to see Dianne still asleep next to me. I snuggled into her and went back to sleep. Next time I woke up the bed was empty and I could hear the shower running in the bathroom. I sat up in bed and looking to the side to see painkillers and water by the table. I grabbed them and took them quickly. A couple of minutes later Dianne came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. 'Morning babe' I said to her.  'How you feeling' Dianne asked. 'Just got a bit of a headache' I replied. I got up of the bed and walked over to her wrapping my arms around her waist and placing a kiss on her lips.

Dianne's POV

I woke up to Joe snuggled up behind me. I slowly turned in his arms looking at his face. I placed a gently kiss on his forehead and then slipped out of bed. I grabbed some tablets and a glass of water and placed them on the bedside beside Joe. I then quietly walked into the bathroom jumping into the shower. Whilst washing my hair I thought back to last night. I couldn't help the smile that came onto my face when I thought about what Joe said when he thought I was another women. I knew he was the love of my life but until last night I wasn't sure that I was his.

I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself. I walked back into the room and Joe was awake leaning against the head board. I asked him how he felt then he got out of bed coming over to me. 'Do you remember last night' I asked. 'Little bits, not much but I remember it was a good night.' 'What do you remember' I asked. 'Drinking, dancing and you having to help me get ready for bed' he said. I looked up at him and started to giggle. He looked at me and asked what was so funny. 'You don't remember what you said last night' I asked. 'Oh god, what did I do' he asked placing his hands over his face. I started to laugh harder. Once I had managed to calm myself down I told him about last night. 'Last night you where so dunk. You where dancing and I came over to give you a hug and a kiss and you pushed me off' I said. 'Why did I do that' Joe asked. 'You thought I was some random women trying it on with you. It was the sweetest thing. You told me to get off, you had a girlfriend and you loved her very much and would never cheat on her.' He looked up at me and smiled bringing me into another hug. After a few minutes he pulled apart and looked me in the eyes. 'I hope you know that's true baby. I would never do anything to ruin our relationship. You are the love of my life, I want to spend my life with you.' 'Your the love of my life too' I said to Joe. We made our way back to the bed and laid their cuddled up together.
