Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

Who would want to marry me?

Joe's POV

We where in the middle of filming a vlog talking about how we weren't engaged. I was talking about how we hadn't known each other for very long when I heard Dianne say 'who would want to marry me anyway.' I turned and looked at her saying 'don't put yourself down like that.' She didn't say anything but kept her head down staring at the table. I finished the vlog off quickly before turning the camera off and turning back to Dianne who still had her head down. 'Are you okay.' 'I'm fine' she said getting up and leaving the room. That's was odd I think getting up and following her. I find her in the kitchen washing she dishes that are in the sink. 'Dianne what's going on' I ask. She says nothing, continuing to wash the dishes. I go over to her and spin her around so she is facing me. She continues to look at the floor so I tilt her chin up so I can look her in the eye. I notice she has a few tears in her eyes so lift my hand up to her face and brush them away. I take her hand and walk her into the living room both of us sitting on the sofa.

I keep a hold of her hand and say 'Dianne please tell me what's wrong. Is it to do with what you said early during the vlog. You have been very quiet since.' She looks up at me and says 'I know I'm just a bit of fun to everyone. That's all anyone ever wants from me' before she looks back down at the floor. 'Is that all you think you are to me' I said. I couldn't believe these words where coming out of her mouth. She looked back up at me but didn't say anything, she just looked really sad. 'Dianne I may not be ready for that step right now but I know one day I will marry you.' 'Really' she asked me. 'Yes' I said 'I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.' 'You what' she asked in a surprised tone. 'I love you' I repeated 'your the first and only girl I have ever loved and I can't imagine my life without you.' 'I love you too' she said. I felt a massive smile spread across my face as one spread across her face as well. I leant forward placing a passionate kiss on her lips before bringing her in for a hug.

I moved so I was laying with my back against the end of the sofa and Dianne in between my legs snuggled up to me. She looked up at me and said in a quiet voice 'Do you ever think about out future.' 'Yes all the time. Since I met you I've thought of nothing else.' 'What do you see in our future' she asked. 'I see a beautiful white wedding. One in England for my family and one in Australia for yours. Here we will get married in a beautiful church and in Australia we will do it on the beach at sunset. Both will we just as beautiful as each other and it will be the one of the happiest days of my life you becoming my wife.' I look at her and see a massive smile across her face. 'What else do you see in out future' she asks. 'Well once we are married we will move into the country where it is less crowded and less people following us around. We will have a beautiful four bedroom house. We will have a garden where we can grow our own vegetables and where out kids can run around.' 'You imagine our kids' she asks. 'Yeah' I say 'in my imagination we have three children. Two girls and a boy. The girls look exactly like you. They have your beautiful eyes and long flowing hair and the boy is exactly like me. I can see us all running round the garden chasing each other and laughing and then I catch one of our daughters and place her over my shoulder. We are all laughing and so happy.' 'Aah' she says 'that so cute I hope it comes true.' 'It will babe' I say wrapping my arms tightly around her 'you are the best thing that has ever happened happened to me and I plan to make all your dreams cone true. We are going to be so happy together now and for the rest of our lives.'
