Dianne's POV
Today was the second day of training with Dev and it had gone very well. We where currently having a little break and where going to do a live on my channel soon. We sat down and had something to drink and a quick snack and then I grabbed my phone. I went onto Instagram and pressed record and we started to speak to the camera. Most of the comments where about how training was going and different ideas that everyone could come up for our team name. After about five minutes I started to notice that some people where commenting on me and Joe and me and Dev telling me not to date Dev. I ignored them but when more people started commenting I decided to just talk about it. I told everybody that it would never happen and that we where just dance partners. We started talking again about our team name until I started to notice that people where again commenting about my relationship. They where saying that is what I use to say about Joe and that I would end up dumping him and moving on to Dev. I could feel my face drop. Why did people feel they had the right to write things like that about my relationship. They didn't know me and they didn't know mine and Joe's relationship. I decided I had enough of it and decided to end the live. I plastered a fake smile on my face and said bye to my followers before I clicked end. I put my phone down beside me and just stared at the wall in front of me for a minute before I heard Dev speak from beside me 'are you okay' he asked. 'I'm fine' I replied 'I'm just gonna go grab some air' I said as I stood up and made my way outside. I stood outside for a minute before I realised my face was wet and that's when I realised I was crying. I quickly went inside and went to the toilets not wanting anyone to see me. I sat in the toilets crying for a few minutes before I decided I needed to buck up my ideas and get back to training. I walked out of the toilet cubicle and looked in the mirror and noticed my eyes looked a little red. I quickly splashed some water on my face and hoped that Dev won't notice.
Dev's POV
I knew that the comments had got to Dianne. She had walked out of the room literally a few seconds after she had finished the live. I could see her face drop when she noticed all the comments that she was getting. I hadn't known Dianne for long but I hated that people felt like they could comment on her relationship. Just because she was on the television doesn't mean that people have a right to comment about every aspect off her life. I had seen first hand at Joe's party how in love them two where with each other. They hardly kept there eyes off each other all night and they just radiate happiness when they where together. I sat on the floor waiting for Dianne to come back in. After about ten minutes I heard the door to the studio open and I looked up to see Dianne walking back in. She walked quickly over to the other side of the room and plugged her phone back in. 'Shall we get back to training' she said. I got up and walked over to her and as I got closer I noticed that her eyes where a little red and it looked like she had been crying. 'Are you okay' I asked as we got ready to start the dance again. 'I'm fine, I don't want to talk about it' she said so I decided to just listen to her and get on with the dance. It was now a couple of hours later and we had finished rehearsals for the day. Dianne had just left to go home but I was still worrying about her. She had been so quiet since we had done the live and I worried that she had taken what they had said to heart. Joe had given me his number at the party I case I wanted tips from anyone that had never danced before. I decided I was going to ring him and let him know so he could reassure her.
Joe's POV
I had such a brilliant second show and I had just got back home. I knew that Dianne would be back any minute so I decided to relax on the coach until she got home. I had been sitting there for about fifteen minutes when my phone went off. I looked down at it to see that Dev was calling me. I thought that it was weird as he couldn't need pointers alright, they had only been dancing for two days. I asked the call 'hi, how's everything going' I asked. 'Good, training going well I seem to be picking up the steps' he replied. 'That's good' I replied. 'I just rung because I'm a little worried about Dianne' he said. That got me a bit worried. 'Why what happened.' 'Well you know that we done a live on Instagram today' he said. 'Yeah' I replied. 'Well some of the people where telling her not to get with me.' 'Okay' I replied. 'Anyway she decided to address it and tell them that nothing would every happen and that we where just dance partners. Well some of the people won't leave it at that and where saying well that's what you said about Joe, your probably do the same thing. Her face sort of dropped and then she decided to end the live. She said she needed some fresh air after but when she came back into the room her face was red like she had been crying and when I asked her if she was alright she said she was fine and just wanted to dance' he said. 'My poor baby' I replied 'she's such a sensitive soul why do they have to say these things to her.' 'Well I just wanted to let you know. She was so quiet the rest of training and it worried me.' 'Thanks for letting me know mate. Is she on her way home now' I said. 'Yeah she left about ten minutes ago' he replied. 'Cool, thanks again for letting me know' I replied. After that we said bye to each other and I waited for Dianne to get in.
Dianne's POV
Since the Instagram live I had been quiet and I knew I had been quiet, I hoped that Dev hadn't noticed as he didn't really know me. After a few hours we decided to call it a day and I gathered my bits together and ordered an Uber home. I really just wanted to go home get in my pjs and snuggle up with my Joseph. The comments today had really got to me and I just wanted to be with the one that I loved. Fifteen minutes after I left the studio I arrived home. I went into the living room to see Joe laying on the sofa. I walked up to him and he stood up wrapping his arms around me and giving me a massive hug. This was just what I needed. After a couple of minutes he pulled back and placed a kiss on my lips before sitting down and pulling me into his lap keeping his arms wrapped around me. 'Are you okay Dottie' he asked. 'Yeah I'm good, why would you ask' I replied. 'I just got off the phone to Dev and he was worried about you. He told me about the live and what people where saying and he told me that he thought you had been crying after. He also said you had been really quiet after that and he just wanted to make sure you where okay.' I snuggled further into Joe's chest. 'It just upset me' I said 'they don't know our relationship, why do they think they can judge it.' I could feel myself tearing up again and I willed myself not to cry. 'Don't get upset princess' Joe said 'I know it's absolute rubbish. I love you and you love me and I know that we are solid. People will say what they want to say but as long as we know the truth then that's all that really matters.' I looked up at Joe and smiled at him through my watery eyes. He reached a hand up to my face and gently wiped the tears away before bringing his lips to mine again and placing a kiss on them. 'Just remember that I love you so much and alway will' he replied. 'I love you too so much' I said. I turned slightly to my side so I could wrap my arms around him as well as having his arms around me. I snuggled deeper into his body.
I knew that Joe was the one for me. I decided that from now on I wasn't going to let what people said get to me as much. I knew that me and Joe where going to last and that was all that mattered.
