Joe and Dianne: Oneshots

How could you?

Dianne's POV

I was really excited about tonight. Me and Joe where going out with all his mates and their girlfriends. We where going to a bar for some drinks and if we felt like it on to a club after. I feel like it's been such a long time since I have let my hair down as I have been so busy recently with all the tours. I have just had a shower and was in our room trying to decide what to wear. As I was looking through my clothes I felt arms wrap around me from behind. 'Where whatever, you look beautiful in everything' Joe said. I picked up my favourite mini skirt and a sparkly top 'I think I'll wear this' I said to Joe as I turned in his arms and placed a kiss on his lips. 'Perfect' he said as he grabbed his clothes out of the wardrobe.

Joe's POV

I was ready for this evening and was currently sitting on the sofa waiting for Dianne to finish getting ready. I was scrolling through Instagram when I heard the sound of Dianne's shoes coming down the stairs. I looked up getting up off the sofa and walking over to her 'you look stunning' I said. I could see her blush as she looked down at the floor and then back up at me 'Thanks' she said. I grabbed my phone and quickly ordered an Uber for us 'it will be here in a few minutes' I said. We locked up the house and made our way downstairs to meet the car. Once we got to the bar we both got out of the car me thanking the driver. I walked round to her taking her hand as we walked into the bar. I saw the gang as soon as we walked in and we made a beeline for them. Once we had greeted everyone Dianne took a seat with the girls as I made my way to the bar to get us both a drink. Whilst I was waiting for our drinks I turned back around to look at Dianne. I couldn't help the massive smile that spread across my face at the fact that Dianne fit in so well with the group. Her and the girls where all deep in conservation and she looked so comfortable with them. I turned back to the bar as the bartender placed the drinks down in front of me. I thanked him as I took the drinks back over to our table. I placed Dianne's down in front of her and she looked up and smiled at me placing a peck on my lips.

Dianne's POV

We had been out for a few hours and I was having a great time. We had moved from the bar and where currently in a club. By this point all of us where at least a little bit tipsy. I was currently on the dance floor shaking my stuff with Joe. When the song finished Joe said he was going to sit down for a while. I decided to stay on the dance floor and a few of the girls came and joined me. After a few songs I decided I need to go to the toilet. I told Ambar where I was going and made my way towards the toilets. Once I had finished I made my way out of the toilets to find Josh standing outside. 'Hey you alright' I asked. He seemed a little worse for wear. 'I'm good baby, how are you' he asked moving closer to me. I didn't like the way he was looking at me so I moved back but he just moved closer towards me. 'What are' was all I managed to get out before I felt Josh's lips on mine. I pushed him back off me as quick as possible and slapped him across the face. 'What the fuck do you think you are doing' I asked. He just stared at me his mouth opened in shock. 'Your suppose to be one of Joe's best friends, how could you do this to him' I asked. 'He isn't good enough for you' Josh said. 'Who do you think you are saying that about him. He is a hundred percent good enough for me and I love him with all my heart' I said. I stomped past Josh and made my way back into the main area and up to Joe 'Can we go home please' I asked. I was getting upset now and I just didn't want to be here anymore.

Joe's POV

I was having a really great evening. I looked up at the dance floor to see Dianne wasn't there anymore and a few of the girls where walking back to the table. 'Where's Dianne' I asked. 'She's just gone to the toilet' Ambar replied. I turned back round to the boys again and kept talking until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Dianne looking down at me 'can we go home please' she asked. I could tell that she was getting upset so I said a quick bye to the boys and grabbed her hand as we made our way outside. On our way back to the house she was silent and didn't look at me. She was staring out of the window like she was in a daydream. The minute we got into the house I decided I needed to find out what had upset her. We both got changed into our pjs and then sat downstairs on the sofa together. 'What's up babe, what got you so upset' I asked. She moved her head so she could look into my eyes and said 'promise you won't be mad with me.' 'Course I won't babe now just tell me what happened.' 'When I came out of the toilet Josh was outside and he came on to me.' I was speechless I didn't know what to say. 'He didn't hurt you did he' I asked. 'No he kissed me but I pushed him away and slapped him' she replied. I got up and started pacing back and forth across the living room. I was so angry how could he do this. 'Please don't be mad at me' I heard from the sofa. I turned back to look at the sofa and saw Dianne curled up in the corner looking at me with a very worried look on her. I walked over to her sitting down in front of her and bought my hand up to stroke the side of her face 'I'm not mad at you, you haven't done anything' I said 'I'm mad at Josh how could he do this.' 'He said that your not good enough for me but that's not true I love you so much' she said. 'I love you too baby' I said. I was so mad right now I felt like I just wanted to punch Josh's lights out. I knew I had to talk to him.

Dianne's POV

I could tell that Joe was mad. I knew he would be but I couldn't keep something like that from him. He deserved to know what his friends is like. We where currently sat on the sofa and Joe had his arms wrapped around me. I could feel the pent up angry around him and I had no idea what I could do to help it go away. 'Joe baby are you okay' I asked. 'I just can't stop thinking about Josh and what he has done. I don't know whether our friendship can survive this' he said. 'Well why don't we go to bed and in the morning you can have a talk with Josh' I said. I knew there was no way we could resolve this tonight so I thought going to sleep would be the best option. We went up to bed and cuddled and I was fast asleep in no time. I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. I looked at the clock to see it had just gone seven. It was really early for Joe to be awake. I got out of bed and checked to see if he was in the bathroom but he wasn't so I made my way downstairs. When I got down there I saw Joe sitting at the breakfast bar with a coffee in front of him 'Morning' I said as I walked into the room 'did you sleep well.' I walked up to him placing a kiss on his lips. 'Morning' he said 'and no I didn't sleep that well. My brain was just overthinking about last night and what Josh did. I really need to talk to him.' 'Well why don't you message him and tell him to come round and have it out with him.' 'I think I'm going to do that' he replied as he picked up his phone and started to write a message.

Joe's POV

My brain couldn't help but overthink what happened last night and what Josh had said to Dianne. I don't know how he could do something like this when he knows how much Dianne means to me. An hour after I text him I got a reply and he said he would be over in half an hour. I got dressed and then sat on the sofa thinking over what I was going to say to him. A little while later I heard a knock on the door and I got up and answered it. We both walked into the living room and I just decided I had to ask him why. I turned and looked him dead in the eye and said 'why did you try it on with my girlfriend last night.' 'I was really drunk I didn't mean to' he said. 'That isn't a excuse' I replied 'just because you have had a drink doesn't mean you can go round kissing other people girlfriends. I don't know if our friendship can survive this.' 'Seriously' he said 'your going to end our friendship over some chick.' I was starting to get really angry now 'she isn't some chick' I shouted at him 'I've made it clear to everyone that she is the one. I can't believe you. This friendship is over.' 'Fine' he shouted back at me 'this relationship won't last anyway. She is way to good for you.' 'Get out' I shouted at him. He turned around and walked out of the house. I turned and looked at Dianne who had been sitting on the sofa the whole time. 'Can you believe him' I said 'he wasn't even sorry.' Dianne got up off the chair and made her way over to me wrapping her arms around me. 'I don't care what he said I know we are going to last' she said. 'I know we will as well' I replied 'I love you so much.' 'I love you too' she replied as we passionately kissed.
