I don't know how long I had been sat there before I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see my sister standing there. 'How she doing' Zoe asked. 'She has a bleed on the brain, it's just wait and see at the moment' I said. Zoe leaned down and gave me a hug and the leaned down placing kiss on Dianne's cheek. 'How did you know she was here' I asked. 'Katya gave me a call, she thought you needed someone here with you' she replied. 'Are they still outside' I asked. 'Yes, they want to know if Dianne is going to be alright' she replied. 'Are you alright to sit with her whilst I go and speak to them' I asked. 'Yeah I can do that. You know I would do anything for her she is basically family' Zoe replied. I got up and made my way out of the room and back into the waiting area where they where all sitting. They all stood up the minute they saw me. 'How is she doing' Karen asked. 'No change' I replied 'they said she is stable but it's just wait and see. Why don't you guys make your way back to the hotel and I'll call you if there is any change' I said. They all gave me a hug before making there way to the lift. I made my way back into Dianne's hospital room and could faintly hear the sound of Zoe talking to Dianne. I walked into the room and said 'what where you talking about' leaning across and placing a kiss on Dianne's lips. 'Just having a bit of girly talk. You always hear how people in coma's can hear what is going on around them. I wanted her to know we are all here for her' Zoe said. 'Thanks' I said 'I told the others to go back to the hotel to rest. They have had a long day.' 'I can stay as long as you want me to' Zoe said. 'I'm gonna stay here overnight just in case there is any change in her condition. I don't want to to wake up and me not be there.'

A few hours later and still nothing had changed. The doctors had come in to see her and said her condition was still the same. It was just past midnight now and Zoe had just left. I grabbed a pillow and blanket from the nurse and set myself up in the chair. I kept a hold of Dianne's hand as I fell asleep. I woke up some hours later and looked up at the clock to sleep it had just gone six. Ten minutes later a doctor walked in and told me they where going to do another scan on her brain. They took her down for the scan and she was back in the room fifteen minutes later the doctor with her. 'Good news' the doctor said 'the scan shows that the bleeding has stopped, the swelling has gone down so we are going to try and take her out of the coma and see how she reacts.' 'Thank you so much' I said shaking the doctors hand. 'I will be back in, in about half an hour to try and take her out of the coma' the doctor said walking out of the room after.

I decided to give Dianne's parents a call to let them know how she was doing. Zoe had called them last night to let them know what had happened. They had booked a flight over to England but the next one wasn't until tomorrow. Dianne's mum answered on the first ring. I spoke to them for about ten minutes letting them know what the doctor said and that they where going to try and bring her out of the coma. I told them I would ring them back once she was awake. They thanked me and then I hung up.

Thirty minutes later the doctors walked back into the room and told her they where going to try and take her out of the coma now. They gave her some medicine and then said it was a waiting game and that she should be awake within the next hour. I stayed next to the bed for the next hour but there was still no change. I laid my head down on her leg my hand still in hers and said 'please wake up. I don't know what I would do without you, I love you so much.' I could feel tears falling down my face as I said it. Suddenly I felt a squeeze on my hand. I lifted my head and looked up at Dianne to see her eyes slowly starting to open. I stand up and walk over to the door 'she is starting to walk up' I called out to the doctor who was outside. I walk back to Dianne and take her hand in mine again 'Dianne, Dianne' I say. Her eyes open completely looking straight at me. I smile at her and say 'hey babe. You really scared me I thought I was going to lose you. I love you so much.' 'I love you too' she replied. I couldn't help the smile that came over my face. I leant down and placed a kiss on her lips. The doctor walked into her room and over to her bed. She checked her eyes and then said 'how are you feeling.' 'Alright' Dianne replied 'I have a really bad headache and my back aches what happened.' 'What do you remember' the doctor asks. 'Not much' Dianne says 'I remember the show had just finished, we where walking back to hotel and then it's all black.' 'There was an accident on the way back from the show. Someone on a bicycle ran into you and you hit your head on the floor. You where bought in here unconscious and we did a scan on you and found that you had a bleed on your brain. You where put in a induced coma yesterday. We done a scan again this morning and the bleed has stopped. You will need to stay in the hospital for the next few days so we can keep an eye on you, but if all is good you should be able to go home at the end of the week' the doctor said. 'Thanks doctor' she replied.

The doctor left the room and I helped Dianne to sit up. 'I'm so glad your alright' I said leaning down and giving her a hug. She moved her bum over in the bed and said 'come and sit next to me.' I got in next to her wrapping my arms back around her body. She rested her hand on my chest and I reached up and stroked her hair. 'I love you so much, I can't imagine my life without you' I said. 'Please don't every scare me like that again.' 'I love you too' she replied.
