Joe's POV
Me and Dianne had been in a relationship for a couple of weeks now. We where now in week 8 of the competition. It was Sunday and the only day we had off during the week. Dianne had stayed over last night after the live show. When we woke up we laid in bed for a little while cuddling before going downstairs and making breakfast. Dianne made pancakes and we sat at the breakfast bar eating them. Once we had finished we went and sat on the sofa, Dianne sitting between my legs her head on my chest. We decided to watch a movie and settled on The Little Mermaid as it was one of Dianne's favourite films.
We where about half way through the film and I couldn't stop smiling as I looked down at Dianne who was singing along to all the songs from the film. She was so adorable and I was so lucky to have this girl. 'You are too cute' I laughed. She looked up at me and giggled us she continued to sing. 'I love you.' The room went silent as we both realised what I had said. Neither of us had said that to each other before. Even though I hadn't planned on saying that I realised that it was 100% true. We both stayed quiet for a few minutes not knowing what to say.
'I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that' I said. Her face dropped as I said that and she moved away from me. 'Did you not mean it' she asked as she looked up into my eyes. 'I absolutely meant it' I said smiling at her. 'Why are you sorry then' she asked. 'I don't know I felt like it was too soon, you looked shocked. 'I was, I wasn't expecting you to say it but it was a good shock' she said looking up at me and smiling. I moved closer to her and bought her back into my arms. She laid her head back on my chest and I moved my lips to the top of her head and kissed her. 'I love you Dianne' I said. 'I love you too' she said back to me. I couldn't stop the smile that covered my face as we snuggled back together to watch the rest of the film.
