Chapter Twenty Six

Third Person's POV

"Help me to get close with him."

To say Taehyung was surprise is an understatement. He blinked his eyes, mind not functioning as of the moment.

"What the hell?" He blurted out. Jimin came in his house early in the morning for what? He asks himself looking at Jimin with shock expression.

"I know you already said last night, you won't get yourself involve but I really needed to know everything about him, about us and what happened two years ago." The smaller male continues face troubled, Taehyung arched his brow.

"But  you asked me to sto-" Jimin cuts in, "Forget what I said." Jimin said sternly and Taehyung bit his lower lip nervously seeing how determine the younger one.

"Listen Jimin, I know I did help you before but it was to bring you back together." Taehyung cleared out, "And not to find out what happened between you two and as I've said I don't want to get involve anymore." He reminds Jimin and Jimin's face fell.

"Jungkook is suffering, inside." Jimin muttered, "I wanted to know the reason, I want to know what I did before." Jimin almost whisper the last part, Taehyung suddenly felt a twinge of pain in his heart at Jimin's tone.

"But what if it wasn't you, what if it was him?" Taehyung argued voice gentle and Jimin fell silent, "What if he doesn't want you to know everything so that you won't get hurt?" Taehyung asks, Jimin shook his head.

"You don't understand, he's suffering," Jimin tried again, "He remembered things that I don't! Don't you think it's unfair for him to suffer alone?!" He half shouted.

"Whenever I'm with him, all I could see is pain, not hatred towards me but pain. He may act like one but his eyes always betrays him." Jimin's voice crack and the tears that welling up inside his eyes, came pouring down, Taehyung's heart fell.

With a heavy heart, Taehyung moves towards the younger male and pull him into a hug, he pressed his eyes shut and sighs heavily.

"I'll help you, don't cry."

After a few moments, Taehyung invited the smaller male to get inside and then guides him towards the living room.

Taehyung sighs and bit his lower lip, he is getting worried because the smaller male can't stop crying, he was crying silently, shoulders shaking, making Taehyung's heart swell up in pain. It hurts so bad that he can't even look at Jimin.

"We'll be meeting them later, please stop crying now." Taehyung says softly as he finally looks down at the smaller male beside him.

"I can't help it..." Jimin replied unsure voice small, Taehyung smiled and then cupped Jimin's face to make the smaller male look at him. Taehyung grins before wiping off Jimin's tears, booping his button nose before he drop his hands off the younger male.
