Chapter Eight

Third Person's POV

Jimin suddenly wakes up and when he realized he was in Jungkook's room he pushed himself up. He walked outside the room only to find the older is sleeping on the couch peacefully.

Jimin slowly walk towards him and sat down on the floor taking his time to observe the other male. Jimin is really interested in him and wanted to know more about him.

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes and catches the younger staring at him. They shared a staring battle for a moment before the younger looks away, cheeks heating up in embarrassment.

Jimin quickly stood up and turned his back on the older. Jimin clenched his fist and bit his bottom lip. He needs an excuse to get away from this awkward situation.

"C-can I cook for breakfast?" He suddenly asked stammering. Jungkook furrowed his brows and pushed himself in a sitting position.

"Go ahead." He answers tone laced with sleep. Jimin took a step forward but stops in his track.

"The kitchen is over there, where are you going?" Jungkook asked tone curious. Jimin took a step backwards and faces Jungkook, smiling shyly.

Jungkook stares at him blankly showing him no emotion. Jimin doesn't understand why his heart aches everytime the latter showed no interest in him. Jimin shook his head. Why would he want his attention?

Jungkook notices the younger's troubled expression but he brushes it off because he knew he was doing the right thing. Jungkook doesn't want them to have any closure.

Jungkook just watched as the younger blankly as he headed towards the kitchen silently. When Jimin is out of sight, Jungkook smiled faintly adoring how cute the younger is.

Jimin placed a few vegetables on the counter next to the cutting board along with a sharp knife. Jimin flinches when Jungkook appears behind him completely surprising him.

Jimin tilted his head to the side and glances up at him with a confused look. The older didn't spare him a glance as he grabbed the knife and started to dice up the onion.

"I'll cook... I'm afraid you'll end up hurting yourself again." He mumbled softly. Jungkook was taken aback by his own words and stops in his track. Jimin frowned at his statement and silence fell between them.

Blood starts dripping down Jimin's finger and it is throbbing with pain. Jimin accidentally cut himself. Jungkook grab the younger's wrist and dragged him towards the sink immediately. Jungkook opened the faucet and washed Jimin's hand where he cut himself.

"I told you, you'll just going to end up hurting yourself." He said tone concern, Jimin smiled faintly. The cut wasn't that deep but Jimin is overwhelmed because of the latter's actions, it makes his heart flutters at how caring his boyfriend is.

"I'm trying to cook for you." Jungkook smiles, "I know." He replied tone soft and low.

Afterwards, Jungkook put a band aid over the cut after it had been cleaned.

"Done," Jungkook says as he look into the younger's eyes. Jimin smiles at him and he placed his hands on the older's waist and then he tiptoed to plant a soft kiss on his jaw.

"Can I cook now?" He whispered looking up at the older. Jungkook smirked.

"So now you're using your charm against me?" Jimin giggles and hug the older, nuzzling his face in the crook of his boyfriend's neck.
