The answer is yes; life is like that. Everything I say, everything I do, is becoming the past even as I do it. It's almost incomprehensible.
We can look back at the past and remember things. We can look to the future and plan ahead. But the present is a very short amount of time, passing by "too quickly to absorb," as it were.
It's kind of amazing.
My question is, what kind of teenager has these deep thoughts while staring out a car window?!
