Amber Bloggs is a brutal hairdresser from crowded Ohio. She leads a sleepy life. However, all that changes when Amber books a summer holiday to dirty New York.
At first Amber finds New York very old-fashioned. Then there's the mysterious, caring doctor, John Fish, who makes her feel awkward.
When John invites her on a talking expedition, Amber begins to realise that John is a deeply ruthless and bold man.
Amber knows in her heart that John is the man for her. However, to secure her happiness, Amber must fend off the mean painter, Luke Giantbulb, who wants to get his claws into John.
Using her fake eyebrows and a mutual love of star gazing, Amber sets out to snare John once and for all. But will the caring hairdresser return her affections?
