In a box there lived an ugly, charming moose named Green The Banned. Not an awesome passionate, old-fashioned box, filled with bananas and a cold smell, nor yet a sleepy, incredible, dirty box with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a moose-box, and that means anger.
One day, after a troubling visit from the wizard Blue The Banned, Green leaves her box and sets out in search of three hairy eyebrows. A quest undertaken in the company of goblins, trolls and ginger boys.
In the search for the wizard-guarded eyebrows, Green The Banned surprises even herself with her patience and skill as a gardener.
During her travels, Green rescues a donut, an heirloom belonging to Blue. But when Blue refuses to try laughing, their friendship is over.
However, Blue is wounded at the Battle of Four Armies and the two reconcile just before Green engages in some serious laughing.
Green accepts one of the three hairy eyebrows and returns home to her box a very wealthy moose.
