The deserted, country town of Bangkok holds a secret.
Sophie W has the perfect life working as a lawyer in the city and sleeping with her gracious boyfriend, Deyan K.
However, when she finds a minuscule rock in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the W family.
A birthday party leaves Sophie with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to grand Bangkok to find some answers.
At first the people of Bangkok are brave and patient. She is intrigued by the curiously hopeful gardener, Claudia P. However, after she introduces her to hard caffeine, Sophie slowly finds herself drawn into a web of theft, vandalism and perhaps, even man slaughter.
Can Sophie resist the charms of Claudia P and uncover the secret of the minuscule rock before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another Bangkok legend?
