dear paul,

wow. i just read your letter, and i am in complete awe.

i can't believe you like me. me, your best friend, a typical ordinary girl, and the weirdest person to ever exist. there is absolutely nothing special about me. you're paul george, and you could have any woman in the entire universe, and yet you like me.

being honest, i think i like you too. hell, i've liked you since i first met you. telling you was never an option though, because the only thing i could see if i told you was humiliation.

i always thought you were the most handsome, charming and funny person alive. don't worry, i still think you are. but i always admired you from afar, and i had the biggest crush on you. i swore to myself i would never tell you though, because number one; you always had a girlfriend. that girl would always be a million times prettier than me, be more popular than me, and have more money than me.

number two; how could you ever like someone like me? i was just some typical girl, who just happened to be the best friend of NBA superstar paul george.

i still don't believe you like me. i can't.

i return those feelings, paul. but i don't think i can be with you. you shouldn't be with me. you deserve someone better. you deserve someone who is more important and better looking than i am.

as much as this hurts me, i can't be with you paul. it's not meant to be.

you'll always be my best friend, but after you get this letter, i'll be gone. i'm going to distance myself from you to prevent things from being awkward and letting my feelings for you go any further.

you shouldn't have let yourself fall for me, and i shouldn't have let myself fall for you. it was wrong.

i love you paul, and i always have.

i hope you find someone who is more deserving of your love.
