You weren't sure where it had came from.
Sure, he hadn't been running about on stage like he would normally be. He had been eating a lot of home cooked food, sure.

It wasn't something you noticed immediately but it was staring you in the face this morning.

"Babe, you realise the only exercise you've been doing is when we have sex?" You mentioned as he walked around the kitchen eating a doughnut.

"I've been busy with lawyers and books and rehearsals." He shrugged as he licked the sugar off his fingers. You looked at Izzy who seemed to be putting on some weight too. Now you were far from being the skinniest woman, but you had all gotten way too comfortable with sitting in front of the TV. Doing a whole bunch of nothing as a family. Even Gunner was getting a bit of a gut too.

"Okay, that's it. No more doughnuts" You said grabbing the box and putting them in the trash. "Fruit for breakfast or good cereal. We're gonna eat more fruit. We gotta lay off the ice cream"

All three of them looked at you with shock and heartbreak as they watched you clean out the fridge and the cupboards.

"Don't look at me like that, we've fallen into bad habits" You mumbled. "Nikki why don't you go kick a ball around with your son and your daughter."

Nikki came over to you as Gunner and Izzy ran into the garden. He put his arms around you and buried his face into your neck.

"You on a rampage Mrs Sixx?" He murmured as he kissed your shoulder.

"Yes cause I'm turning into Mrs Six chins. We aren't exactly in the shape we were. You've stopped working out, we've all got really lazy" You said putting your hands on his stomach.

"I think we should name it Vince Jr" He said looking down at his stomach with a grin. "Alright, I'm gonna go workout. Don't let me near anymore donuts."

"Aye aye captain" You said kissing him. He grinned into your kiss and picked you up putting you on the kitchen counter.

"I'd love you even if you had 12 chins" He mumbled tickling your sides as you wrapped your arms around him.

"You are adorable" You grinned. "Go have fun with the kids. I've gotta do some work on Eddie's track"

"I bet Eddie couldn't eat four donuts in a row" Nikki rolled his eyes.

"And I bet Nikki circa 1990 couldn't either" You grinned and he made a face at you.

"Ouch. Harsh but noted" He smirked giving you a peck before heading outside.

"Babe he is mid forties. He's not gonna bounce back to looking like this" Lita mentioned as you went through the photos for your anniversary.

"I know and I love him to pieces. But you remember when I'd tell you we'd be at it for hours. We both just don't have the stamina. I think it's because I've been making too much pasta" You mumbled.
