Hate me ║ Closer

The next few days passed quickly by. We all were getting used to a new school routine and the new responsibilities that comes with high school.

I was mostly occupied with decorating my new room and getting to know my friends. Historia was my closest, she was always there for me with a great smile. And I was still getting used to this rivalry thing between us and Eren's group. Luckily, nothing much had happened ever since the locker incident.

Jean and Eren just never talked to each other, maybe that was for the best.

It was already Friday, the clock had just tipped 15 and we were all pretty tired from working hard all day. School was also picking up, more work and less freedom.

It wasn't until Shadis bursted into the room, startling me and making me drop my pen to the floor. Historia was also sitting next me wide eyed.

I'm not getting used this, am I?

"Class is over, pack up!" The man hollered like always. The rest of the class jumped of their seats, yelling with full joy. Shadis clapped his hands and made us simmer down again, "Hold on, I have some important news to share" He began.

I sat down on my seat, itching to just get out of there already. Enough school for me.

"On Monday we have the annual camping trip for you first years" Shadis spoke up, eyes sharp and lingering with amusement. "We'll be gone from Monday to Friday, so make sure to pack for all type of weather. Other details are on this paper" He held up the information paper, "Grab one on your way out, that's it for today. See you on Monday students!"

"That sounds so exciting!" Historia beamed next to me, hands shaking back and forth.

"I love camping trips!" Sasha suddenly popped behind us, her school bag already over her shoulder. "This is gonna be so much fun and think about all the food!!" She equaled.

I bit my lip in anticipation. Sleeping outside...well, that wasn't my favorite hobby. But I guess it was okay, I could use this as a bonding moment with my friends.

"Yeah and when the night comes, we can all watch the stars together" Historia clasped her hands together with stars in her blue eyes.

"I guess it's okay" I said, reluctantly. "But all of the bugs...UGH" I scrunched my nose in disgust, I knew I was going to scream when I saw a spider or something.

"Hey it's okay! We'll just buy a bug spray" Connie leaped into the conversation. "My family goes camping all the time so I have many at my house" He pointed at himself with a big grin.

"Yeah..I guess I can live with that" I gave him a small smile. Soon we all shuffled to get our things, also picking up the information paper on the way.

"Come on guys" Jean said in an annoyed manner, waving at us from the exit door.

I rushed towards the front, but clearly I wasn't looking where I was going, because next thing I knew, I bumped into someone's chest as they were also walking out the same time as me.

The paper I was holding close to my chest fell out of my grasp and slid across...Eren's feet. I gazed up in embarrassment, I couldn't believe I bumped into him again.

"You really can't watch where you're going" He sent me a harsh glare, which seemed to be the only expression he could wear.

Historia, Sasha and Connie were awkwardly standing behind me, looking back and forth at Eren and I. What was more hilarious, was that Jean was still waiting at the exit right next to us, just glaring at Eren.
