Monday came by quickly, I wished I could've had more time to rest and figure things out, but life goes on right?

After that exhausting weekend came the camp. The annual A.O.T high camping trip which was hosted for all first years. It had been said to be a sort of bonding experience, considering people didn't know each other from before. But my lucky ass ended up in a class were over half of the students already knew each other.

Cheer for Y/n everyone, this experience was just made for her.

Just kidding, I was actually really excited to go. One week away from the society seemed to be what I just needed. Except for the part that I'd have to sleep outside of my home...but I'm not complaining am I?

It was going to be fun.

It was early morning, around seven o'clock when we had to meet up at the school grounds to stack up our school buss. Ymir was sleeping on Historia's head, giving no fucks about the boys who had to carry her bags into the trunk.

Jean and Connie had the freaking energy to start bickering about some stupid stuff. Which left me with a sweet Marco who was too shy to start a conversation. I looked around and found Sasha walking out of school, obviously hiding her precious food in her hoodie.

I snorted which caused Marco to locate the brunette as well. "Oh Sasha, she can't survive an hour without food" Marco giggled as he gave me a look. I laughed back and nodded in agreement.

"Sasha is truly something special" I stated and crossed my arms. When Shadis announced our departure, students started entering the buss and I quickly realized, I had nobody to sit with...

Jean sat with Marco.
Sasha sat with her food soulmate Connie.
Historia sat with her best friend Ymir
And then there was me!

Gosh I hate odd numbers...

I looked inside the buss anxiously, not really having the guts to just sit with someone I didn't know.

"Agh what do you mean Armin!? Sit with me I'm your best friend!" I heard a familiar voice complain outside of the buss. I walked back out and saw the trio heavily debating.

"Sorry Eren...Mikasa wanted to sit with me for some reason" The blond twiddled with his thumbs as he slowly gave Mikasa a gaze. There were still students outside, slowly finding their way inside and I needed to find a seat quick.

Eren's eyes went wide, "Wait, hold up!"

I was awkwardly standing there, about to turn around and find a seat when Mikasa and Armin passed me and entered. I was left standing in silence, my hand holding onto the buss. I veered around to face the boy left outside, he looked at me, eyes impassive.

I gulped.
Ah he looks so scary with that expression!

I felt my cheeks starting to redden, was I supposed to say something to him?

Eren didn't say anything at all and stepped inside the buss. Out of reflex, I grabbed the hem of his sweater. "Wait!"

In surprise, Eren turned around and looked me in the eyes. "What do you want?" His nose scrunched up, like he was disgusted to talk to me. I let go of his sweater.

"Do you have anybody to sit with?" I asked him with as much confidence as I could muster. I admit his presence was really intimidating, but I still hadn't forgotten the sad boy I saw inside of him that day. Somehow, that made me feel more calmer.

"No?" He answered like a question mark, giving me a look of impatience as he stood at the door. Shadis was sitting at the front, glaring at Eren.

"Get in Jaeger! You're wasting our time" Our teacher demanded.
