A little later than promised, sorry!
Nathan's POV,
~
'Where you off to?' Mum asked.
'Umm, just going out with Betsy and a few other friends.' I said as I shoved my phone into the back pocket of my pants.
'Ah, well have fun. Don't be back too late! We've gotta visit your Grandpa at the hospital' she said.
'Okayyyyyyy' I made my way out.
~
'Iced Vanilla Latte for Nathan!' The person at Starbucks said.
I grabbed my drink along with a straw and walked out.
'You're such a white girl, with your Starbucks and shit' Elyar said.
'Hey, there's nothing wrong with a guy enjoying a cup of Starbucks every now and then' I took another sip.
'Yeah, that's fine but you literally get a cup every single time you step foot outside' Betsy said.
'Stop judging me!!' I defended as they just stood there, laughing.
Betsy grabbed my cup from me and drank a little.
'Heyyy!' I took it back from her.
'Sharing is caring' she winked.
'Says the girl who just judged me for the amount of times I drink Starbucks which, by the way, is very normal'
'Oh shut up, Nathan' she punched my shoulder playfully.

Sawyer's POV,
~
I was at the nearest Starbucks outlet, getting a cup of hot chocolate before going to the hospital.
All I've been seeing is hospital rooms and doctors and people crying and it just isn't my favourite environment to be in.
'Thanks' I grabbed my cup and walked out.
I noticed a blonde girl playing around with two other guys.
I'm not the type to be nosy but she was just being a tad bit too loud.
Or maybe I'm just getting moody.
I shoved my wallet back into my bag and looked up to realize that one of the guys she was playing with was Nathan.
Nathan James Sykes.
They seemed really close. I mean, they're sharing a drink and she's playing with his hair and,
Lea, just stop.
I took a deep breath and quickly rushed into the car before he noticed me.
I found myself just sitting there, refusing to start the engine, staring at absolutely nothing.
As per usual, tears started rolling down my cheeks, extremely fast.
Stop, he's not worth your tears. Nobody is.
Was all I kept telling myself but nothing was able to stop those tears from falling.
~
'Are you alright, Ms.?' A nurse asked as she saw me crying.
'Yeah,' I wiped my eyes. 'Yeah, I'm fine' I forced a smile.
She smiled and I went back to the room Dad was in.
I'm sick of walking in and seeing him just laying there, helplessly with a bunch of things and tubes attached to him.
Just as I sat down, my phone started vibrating.
I pulled it out from my pocket only to see that it was Mum calling.
I didn't wanna have to explain to her as to why I sound like I've been crying.
But at the same time I can't hang up on her.
I pulled myself together and answered the phone.
'Hey' I said, sounding a lot more normal than expected.
'Hey Lea, how's your Dad?' She asked.
'The same as always. Helpless, not awake, bunch of machines attached to him' I sighed.
'Oh, Sweetie' Mum sighed. 'He's gonna be okay. It may not seem like it now, but he is gonna wake up and be his normal self again.'
'How sure are you, Mum?' I questioned.
'It just takes time, Lea' she said, dodging the question I asked.
How much time? How long am I supposed to sit here, waiting for him to wake up?
How many times am I supposed to cry over a person who probably has already forgotten my existence?
How many times am I supposed to go through shit until I can experience happiness again?
Well, you've clearly gone way off topic, Lea.
