Chapter thirty two
Sawyer's POV,

~

'God, I love you'

His voice kept replaying in my head even though it had been about 10 minutes already. I pretended not to hear, 'cause I had no idea what to do and I'm guessing he decided to do the same and ignore it.

'Lea, you heard me right?' I guess I spoke too soon about him ignoring it.

'Um,' I rubbed the nape of my neck.

'I love you' he cut me off.

"I love you too, Nathan" was exactly was I wanted to say.

But I couldn't. I couldn't just ignore everything just 'cause he brought me to this place.

Instead, I just forced a smile.

Within seconds, he leaned in and planted a kiss on my lips. They were so soft, and it felt to good tasting his scent, having him be so close to me.

But I didn't want these thoughts. Not again, I can't feel this again. Stop, Lea.

'Nathan' I pulled away.

'Sssh' he placed his index finger on my lips then kissed me yet again.

I hated myself for enjoying this so much.

It was my first time kissing him and it was better than I had ever imagined.

'You've no idea how long I've waited to do that' Nathan said, causing my cheeks to get hot.

Oh wow, I was actually blushing. I felt my cheeks get hotter but I was hoping it didn't show.

I noticed a lot of the people passing us, staring. Have they not seen two people kiss before?

Though, it wasn't me they were staring at. It was all him, Nathan. I mean, I wasn't jealous or anything. I'm not the kind who wants attention, it's just peculiar. For all I know, they could just be extremely nosy people, right?

'Nathan'

'Yeah?'

'Why are they staring?' I asked as he looked around.

'Um,' he bit the bottom of his lip, I'm guessing an act of nervousness. 'It's nothing. They've probably got nothing else to do' he smiled.

'Yeah' I said, though the staring didn't stop. Nathan didn't have a problem at all ignoring them but me, I found it hard. I mean, nobody just stares for no apparent reason.

Just then, Nathan's phone rang.

He looked at me before even thinking of answering it.

'Go on, I'll be fine' I smiled and he returned one.

Nathan's POV,

It was Lucas, one of my mates.

'Hey, how you doing, mate?' I asked.

'I'm good yeah, you?'

'Great, great'

'Eh mate, where are you though?' He asked, his voice sounding concerned.

'Whitemead Forest Park, why?'

'Oh god, Nathan what on earth are you doing there?' He was getting more and more worried.

'I'm just hanging out, mate it's nothing to worry about' I tried reassuring him.
