Yumi's POV

"Hahahaha!"

I tightly closed my eyes while hearing Kiana's laugh for almost two hours now. My eyes are fixed on the book I'm reading but I know that she looks like a psychopath.

Like, duh? What's funny about Annabelle?

"Kailangan na ba nating magpatawag ng espiritista?" I heard Alex whispered.

I looked at the two of them and saw Kaye nodding.

"Kawawa naman ang pinsan ko, nababaliw na," Kaye said and acted like she was crying.

Alex looked at her with pity and even rubbed her back. I almost did a facepalm while seeing their drama. I'm surrounded by crazy people and I no longer know what to do.

I took the remote from the center table and turned off the TV. Kiana immediately looked at me, almost glaring.

"Ba't mo naman pinatay?! Kitang nanonood ako eh!" pagmamaktol niya at may papadyak-padyak pa.

"Seriously? Kiana, kanina pa kami nagtataka kung bakit ka tawa ng tawa," Kaye said.

"Eh sa nakakatawa eh!" Kiana said.

I almost rolled my eyes. She's acting like a kid doing some tantrums and it's giving me a headache.

"Anong nakakatawa doon? Kailan pa naging nakakatawa ang horror?" Kaye said.

Alex nodded and I almost nodded with that too. But I know that she's acting like that because she's bothered by something. She's crazy most of the time. But sometimes, dinadaan niya din sa ka-abnormal-an ang worries niya.

"Ngayon lang," Kiana said.

Alex winced. "Ganyan ka lang naman kapag hindi mo maalis ang isang bagay sa isipan mo."

Kiana didn't say anything about that. I turned a page on my book but I totally stopped reading when Kiana asked.

"Sa tingin niyo, bakit bigla na lang tayong sinugod ng babaeng iyon?"

I closed the book I was reading and looked at her. And that's when I saw Kiana holding the mask of that woman. A golden mask.

"Baka may pinaplano sila," Alex said.

Kaye nodded and said, "And besides, bakit for the first time ay may naghamon na Ruffian sa atin? Sinabi pang papatayin tayong apat."

One of our signs to know if someone is a Ruffian is a golden mask. Members of MR are just like us. They hide their identities by wearing gold masks.

And last night, in HP, it turned out that the mask that woman was wearing was gold and was only painted with white. We thought of other possibilities that it may be a coincidence or something. But if it's really was, bakit kailangan pang pinturahan iyong maskara?

That only means she was trying to hide that she's a Ruffian. But unfortunately, Kiana found out.

She found out but it was too late. That woman is already dead. And I blame myself for that. If I didn't lose my temper and didn't kill her, we could have captured her and get some informations. But the chance was wasted because of me.

"I'm sorry."

"Ayos lang 'yon, hindi mo naman kasalanan. Ang mas dapat nating isipin ngayon ay kung bakit nangyari iyon," sabi ni Kiana.

I was about to say something again but Kaye immediately spoke.

"Tingin niyo alam na nila kung sino tayo?"
