Deadly 19: Foundation Day

Yumi's POV

"Bumangon ka na d'yan!" Alex shouted and kicked Kiana's bed.

"A-ayaw ko. Masama talaga pakiramdam ko. H-hindi ko yata kayang p-pumasok..."

We all rolled our eyes when Kiana said that while lying on her bed. Obviously, she's just acting.

"Hindi mo kami maloloko! Bangon na d'yan!" Kaye yelled.

She shook Kiana's body but still, she didn't get up and continued acting that she's sick. Damn this girl. As if we don't know that she's doing that because she doesn't want to go to GCU since the Foundation Day will happen. And it means, we will fight for the fighting activities and that includes her.

I smirked when I finally know what can make her get up.

"Get up and come with us now, or else, I won't let you eat your dinn—"

Only a second had passed and she's now standing with a wide smile on her face. She started fixing her bed while I just raised a brow on her.

"Hindi naman kayo mabiro. Nagpa-practice lang ako ng acting kanina. Ayos ba?" she said and we just rolled our eyes.

"Move faster or you won't eat your breakfast tomorrow."

She immediately ran towards her room's bathroom and went inside. Then she shouted so we stopped ourselves from laughing.

"Oo na! Bibilisan ko na! Huwag niyo lang idamay pagkain ko!"

"Okay! Labas na kami!" Kaye shouted back.

We all exited her room but before that, we even heard Kiana mocking inside the bathroom. We just shook our heads and shrugged before going to our own rooms to prepare.

Several minutes have passed. When I was done, lumabas na ako at saktong kalalabas lang din no'ng tatlo. We all ate our breakfast and the one who almost ate all of our breskfast? No other than Kiana. She said that she's just being ready once I didn't let her eat her dinner.

I just shook my head. Masyado siyang advance mag-isip.

When we are on our way to our garage, Kiana tried to escape a few times but always fail. She just sighed at the end while we smirked. She doesn't want to join that much, huh?

We can't blame her though.

Kiana and I went inside of one of her cars. We left the house and they started driving towards GCU. On our way there, tahimik lang kaming pareho. 

I was looking outside the window when I heard Kiana sighed. I looked at her and saw nervousness in her eyes. Her eyes are fixed on the highway but I think her mind is flying somewhere.

What is she thinking?

"You okay?"

"Oo naman. Iniisip ko lang kung anong mangyayari mamaya."

"You will win," I immediately said and looked outside the window.

"I don't know, Yumi," she said and sighed. "Alam naman nating matagal na simula nang lumaban ako. I don't even know if I'm as strong as I was before."

"Don't underestimate yourself. You're stronger than what you think you are so stop the drama, will you? It's irritating."

I added annoyance in my tone so she'll stop saying things like that and to divert the topic. Hindi niya bagay kapag ganyan siya.

"Uy! Nag-aalala ka, ano?"

Even if I'm not looking at her, I know that she's already grinning from ear to ear. Napairap na lang ako dahil sinundot-sundot niya pa ang tagiliran ko. I knew it. You can easily divert a topic if you are talking to her.
