Yumi's POV
"Katatawag lang sa akin ni Dad. Gusto ng parents nating pumasok tayo sa GCU."
We all looked at Alex when we heard what she said. It's Sunday afternoon and we are doing our own businesses here in our living room.
I frowned. "Why do we need to go to school?"
"Para mag-aral. Tanga ka ba?"
I glared at Kaye when she said that. She only smiled at me so I grabbed a throw pillow but she only caught it with her arms.
"Ito naman, ang init-init ng ulo," she said and chuckled.
"Baka ikaw ang tanga. Hindi naman natin kailangan mag-aral," Alex said then hit her nape.
I only smirked and returned my gaze in my book. Geez. Istorbo talaga sila kahit kailan.
"Kayo na lang pumunta. Tinatamad ako."
"Kailan ba hindi?"
I raised my head and saw Kiana glaring at Alex.
"Oo nga. Pero kapag pagkain, palaging ganado."
"You have a point in that, Kaye."
"Yehey!"
"Ah gano'n? Three versus one?" Kiana asked while showing us a poker face expression.
Kaye and Alex just laughed it off while I only rolled my eyes. When I am really talking to them, I can't help but to wonder why they weren't given straight minds. Iyong utak kasi nila, pabaliktad.
"Sabi ni Dad, huwag daw tayong mag-alala kasi naayos na nila iyong pagpasok natin sa GCU."
"What do you mean 'naayos'?" I asked out of curiosity.
"I dunno. Pero kasi, 'di ba? Ilang linggo na tayong hindi pumapasok. Dapat matagal na tayong na-expel."
"Eh bakit hindi pa?" Kaye asked.
"Iyon siguro iyong tinutukoy ni Dad na inayos nila."
"Edi wow."
We all looked at Kiana when she said that with sarcasm.
"Is it your red days, huh? You seem so irritated," I asked.
She looked at me, smiling widely. See? Meron talaga 'tong babaeng 'to. One minute, she's in poker face. Then she became sarcastic. Then now, she's smiling. The hell?
"Manghuhula ka na ba ngayon, Yumi?"
I just frowned when she asked. We became silent when she suddenly raised her index finger like she realized something.
"May ipapahula ako sayo, dali!"
"What?" I lazily asked.
"Hulaan mo kung kailan ka tatangkad. Dali na!"
I froze with that. But after a minute, I started throwing death glares. I gritted my teeth. I turned my hands into fists.
"Tangina! Hahaha!"
"Hoy, Alex, lumikas na tayo! May paparating na delubyo!"
I heard Alex's cuss and Kaye's warning but didn't care. I glared at Kiana who's still looking at me with a big smile on her face.
"Are you insulting me?"
"H-ha? Hindi ah. Nagtatanong lang kaya ako."
"It sounded like an insult."
"But you should take it as a complement."
"Why would I?"
"Alam mo ba? Mababait ang mga pandak."
