Deadly 77: Kill The Queens

Kiana's POV

"Stop it! You don't know anything!" malakas na sigaw ni Black kay Shin.

Nag-iwas lang naman ng tingin si Shin habang nakatitig pa din sa akin sila Yumi. I know they have so many questions in their minds but I cannot answer them now. Not yet.

I looked at Black. "How can you say so, Black? Do you know anything?"

He looked at me and my smirk didn't fade. I am just beginning my own game and he's already that mad. Paano pa kaya sa mga susunod?

I looked at Shin. "Does he know something?"

"I don't know. Maybe?"

Ngumisi si Shin kaya sabay-sabay silang napakunot noo. Nagpalipat-lipat ang tingin nila sa aming dalawa ni Shin at mukhang doon lang nila napagtanto na wala naman talagang alitan sa pagitan namin.

Kaye looked at me. "Kiana?"

"Tell us what the fuck is going on," sambit ni Black.

Bahagya naman akong natawa. Hindi maipinta ang mga mukha ng Kings ngayon.

"You know what I like about people?" I asked and smiled. "They are ignorant."

"What?" tanong ni Gio.

"All of this was calculated. No, it's more like, it was planned. Ever since you joined us and moved to our house, our next moves are already planned. Queens' mothers being abducted, Ed Smith escaping, Stephen suggesting Yamashito Clan, I already expected all of that."

Yumi glared at me. "And you didn't tell us? You knew that our mothers will be abducted but you didn't say anything!"

"Have you ever saw a player telling her next moves?" tanong ko at natahimik si Yumi. "Walang gano'n, Yumi. You, all of you are just chess pieces on my chessboard. I control people. That's what Demon is good at, right?"

"Putangina, Kiana! Ano bang nangyayari sayo?!"

I smiled. "I'm done, Alex."

"Done?" Ethan asked so I looked at him.

"I'm done with your game. I'm done being played by the people around me, dead or alive," I said and stood up. "It's now my turn to play and start my own game. But don't worry, we are just in the beginning. We haven't reached the climax yet."

Ngumiti ako at tumingin kay Shin.

"Good work."

Shin just nodded at me and even smirked at them. Hindi makapaniwala naman nila kaming tinignan, even the Queens.

"Did you," Yumi looked at me, "really killed your own mother? Were you lying at us all this time?"

Imbes na sumagot, ngumiti lang ako kay Yumi at tumalikod. Naramdaman kong napatayo sila pero mabilis na akong lumabas. I heard them calling my name but I walked faster.

My smile faded. Me? Killing my mother?

That's possible but it's the least thing I would do.

Nagtuloy-tuloy lang ako sa paglakad nang mabilis kahit pa halos takbo na ang ginagawa ko. Marami ding Yamashito guards ang nakakita sa akin pero hindi naman nila ako pinipigilan. Subukan lang nila. Hindi ako magdadalawang-isip na patayin silang lahat.

Kaagad akong sumakay sa kotse na sinakyan namin kanina pagkalabas ko. I am thankful that I managed to get the key in Yumi's pocket without her noticing. I started the engine and drove away from that place.

Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa manibela habang palapit ako ng palapit sa bahay niya. I haven't seen him in a while. Hindi ko alam kung anong ginagawa niya o kung ano pang balak niyang gawin. But I can feel that he is here.
