Deadly 72: Defend

Yumi's POV

"She was drugged. It's a kind of drug that affects her emotions and mood. Pwedeng tumatawa siya pagkatapos ay biglang magagalit mamaya. It's also a kind of drug that sents some signal to her brain to believe what the person drugged her is saying."

We were relieved when the doctor told us that Kiana was only drugged that's why she acted that way. But it also made us furious. How dare them drug her? How dare them touch her? That is bullshit.

"Don't worry, we already extracted the drug out of her body. Pagkagising niya, okay na siya."

I just nodded when the doctor said that. Gelo thanked him and led him out of the room.

"A-akala ko mamamatay na kami kanina," Stephen said while laughing but he sounded so anxious.

"Ang kapal ng mukha nilang gawin 'yon kay Kiana."

I heard what Kaye said while clenching her jaw. When I looked at Alex, she's just silently looking at Kiana but her hands are both in fists.

We are all furious now.

I just stared at Kiana while she's peacefully sleeping. Sometimes, I'm wishing for her to sleep forever so she won't be able to experience all of this bullshit. But I will also immediately take it back because I don't want to lose her.

Ngayon, nag-aalala ako kung anong gagawin sa kanya ng Gehenna. I am very sure that they will blame her because of what happened to Alex even though they didn't know what exactly happened. Buti at napakiusapan ko sila Dad at Mom to na kausapin ang parents ni Alex.

As expected, they were furious when they knew what happened and immediately blamed Kiana for that. But we managed to stop them from going here. Alex also talked to them over the phone and pleaded not to make it a big deal.

But I am worrying because Kiana will be punished by Gehenna. They will let it pass but Kiana still need to pay for it. Wala naman kaming magawa dahil nga pumayag din si Kiana. We didn't know that she had that agreement with Kaye's father. If Kiana won't accept the punishment, they will take us back and if that happens, it will be the end for the Queens.

"I despise them."

We all looked at Black when he suddenly said that. His face is serious but his eyes are blank. Although, his tone is showing great anger. He turned his back and left the room.

"I am wondering."

Bigla namang sabi ni Draven. He looked at the Kings and to Kiana who is still sleeping.

"Bakit sa lahat ng taong pwedeng siraan ni Ed Smith kay Kiana, ang Kings ang napili niya?"

His question became the reason why all of us fell silent. The Kings weren't able to speak so I looked at them. Alex and Kaye did the same.

"Bakit nga ba?" Alex asked while staring at the Kings with serious eyes.

"We don't know. We don't have any idea," Ethan said.

I stared at the three of them and didn't utter a word. I am confused why Ed Smith did that. But it's too early to conclude.

Kaye sighed. "Halata namang gusto niya lang tayong sirain."

Alex snickered but didn't say a thing. When our eyes met, we both know that Ed Smith won't do that without any reason. Kaye might be right but why do I feel it's not? Why do I feel that it's a kind of warning?

"I will just go get some air," sambit ko.

I can feel their stares while I'm walking towards the door but I didn't look back. I left the room and breathed out.
