There are some timelines that don't line up with the MCU timelines so just go with it for the sake of the story.
Beware of a lot of time skips
To say Peter was excited for the Decathlons Team field trip to London would be an understatement, words couldn't even begin to describe how excited he was to visit his hometown for the first time since he moved to America.
You see, up until the age of 11 Peter Parker was born and raised in London but he was forced to move to America and live with his uncle and aunt after his parents were killed in a plane crash.
Peter didn't want to leave London but he had no living relatives in London, so it was rather foster care or move to another country.
And Peter did not want to go into foster care.
The month long trip cost $143 dollars to go on the but it covered the flight, hotel and money so it was worth it.

"You excited for the trip, loser?" Peter hears a voice say, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"No Michelle, I'm not excited to see my hometown for the first time in 6 years," Peter says sarcastically, with his British accent coming out a bit. Not that Michelle would ever admit this to anybody but she loved it when his accent would slip out.
"The wait must be killing you," Ned says as he sits himself next to the two.
Peter sighs, "It is. Although I do feel bad that May is going to be by herself for a month. She probably could use a break from me though,"
"Yeah, I don't know how I would survive living with you. I can barley stand seeing you 7 hours a day," Michelle jokes, Peter rolls his eyes and she elbows him playfully.
"Alright class, I know you are all excited about the field trip tomorrow, but we do have work to do," Mr. Kelley announced to the chattering class, everybody stopped talking, normally Mr. Kelley didn't care if the class talked but he didn't like it when they talked while he was talking or teaching.
"Everybody has gotten the work from their teachers, yes?"
"Yup,"
"Good. Now if you would please pull out your assignment from yesterday,"

"Are you excited for the trip!" May asks as Peter is eating his cereal. Most mornings he wouldn't be in a rush but he stayed up all night preparing himself for the trip since they had to be at the school by 6 because the flight as at 7:30 and they need to prepare and stuff and it's 5:30 so he's got a decent amount of time.
"Yup. I wonder if I'll run into any of my old friends," Peter says then stops himself, "Not that I had a lot but still. It would be cool if I ran into Allie or Hunter while we're visiting,"
May smiles, "Just stay safe. Don't talk to strangers or do anything too stupid,"
"Can't make any promises," Peter jokes, "I can guarantee however that I won't get into any trouble- Actually I cant guarantee that either cause life just loves to fuck with me," Oh no he accidentally swore in front of May.
