I should probably point out that in this Tony isn't seeing anybody (you'll see why it's relevant soon)
Peter hates the holidays. Always has and probably always will. Yes he enjoyed the time off from school but other than that, he was usually miserable most of the time.
Which is why he was glad Father's Day fell on a Friday during a school year.
"Peter, pancakes are ready!" May shouted from the kitchen.
Peter made himself go to the kitchen. He wasn't hungry but he loved pancakes and he knew if he didn't, May would know something's up and the last thing he wanted was to make her worried.
"Do you want one or two," May asks as she scoops the pancake onto a plate.
"Two, please," Peter responds as he gathers some of his supplies off the table and puts them into his bag.
"You know you can just stay home today if you want. I can say you're sick," May says as she handed Peter his plate, he took it. She knew the holidays made Peter a little depressed and she wanted to do as much as she could to make him not feel that way.
So if it meant missing a day of school then she was all in.
Peter thinks about it, normally he would've declined but for some reason this Father's Day was hitting him harder this year, "That sounds fine,"
"I already ate this morning since I had a late shift last night, so do you just want me to put something on or do you have something else to do?" May asks. Her shift at the hospital ended at 3 last night.
May didn't mind the face she couldn't sleep last night. She would just be miserable for the day and fall asleep easy tonight.
"We can just watch whatever," Peter shrugs as he takes a bite of his pancakes.
'Speaking of whatever, I should probably tell Ned that I won't be at school so he doesn't worry,' Peter thought to himself.
He pulled out his phone and started to text Ned.
Spooooooodermooon: Taking a sick day. No need to worry.
Guyinthechair: Ok. You good?
Spooooooodeemooon: yep. Just feeling a little down. No biggie.
Guyinthechair:

30 minutes into watching Empire records, May and Peter decide that they both wanted some ice cream to go with their binge watching.
"Do you have your phone on you?" May asks before Peter walks out the door. She knew it was silly to worry but she couldn't help herself.
"It's in my pocket," Peter answers as he opens the door. Only to see Mr. Stark standing there.
"Oh, mr. stark! What are you doing here?" Peter asks, clearly not bothering to hide how shocked he is to see Tony.
Tony clears his throat, "Shouldn't you be at school?"
Peter shrugs, "Mental health day?"
"The real question is why are you here?" Peter says with his arms crossed, not that he had a problem with Mr. Stark being there but why would he come to his apartment knowing those were Peter school hours.
Oh it just it Peter.
Peter turns to May, "You two are screwing aren't you?"
May gasps, "Peter!"
"Yeah. We're screwing," Tony admits.
"So you came here to-"
"I'd prefer not to answer that," Tony says.
"I would've told you but I didn't think it was going to get serious," May says.
"It's fine, May," Peter responds.
"Are we serious?" Tony questions. He thought about May a lot. Mostly romantic thoughts and he never saw himself as the one for romance. But what he felt for May was something different.
"I mean... if you want us to be. I know you have this whole playboy slash womanizer thing going," May says.
Tony chuckles, "I guess were official,"
"Do you want to join us?" May asks.
"Sure,"
"Whelp. That was fun to watch. I'm going to get ice-cream," Peter says as he walks out the door.
Peter pauses before he's out of sight, "And no funny business. I like that couch,"
Two years later, May and Tony were happily engaged. May and Peter moved into S.I. to be with Tony.
I guess you can say they lived happily ever after?
The ending is a bit rushed but I wanted to post something today
