So basically this takes place after homecoming and Peter hasn't been to school for a few days and nobody knows why most people don't care but those who do care are worried.
When Peter didn't show up to school again, Michelle wasn't surprised.
Part of Michelle was worried but another part of her was annoyed.
It's been a little over a week and the least Peter could do is tell her that he is missing practice instead of just not showing up.
So Michelle decided to call him.
She wasn't surprised when the phone went to voicemail. Peter hasn't returned any of her calls or texts either.
Michelle paused and thought about what she was going to say, "You weren't at school today again which isn't surprising at this point. Ned and the others missed you,"
She pauses again, "I don't know what's going on with you, Peter but whatever it is you need to figure it out,"
"Your friends aren't going to wait around forever," And with that, she hung up.
