For those who do not know the above actor, his name is Mond Tanutchai Vijitvongthong. He played the role of Kluay in Waterboyy the series. He was the one who gave Achi (played by Tytan Teepprasan) a hard time before falling in love with him.

Mond's POV

I had just finished my lunch when my pager beeped.

It was the administrator's office paging me.

I called the extension number right away.

I was told to rush to the poolside deck. There was a fight going on and other bystanders were joining in the fray.

I did not stop to finish my coffee which I usually drink leisurely after lunch.

I hurried down to the poolside deck.

Shit, it was complete pandemonium there.

With the strongest blow I could make on my whistle, I blew on it three times.

I unhooked my baton from my hip and brandished it at the crowd.

Using a megaphone which I had grabbed from my office before coming over, I announced,

"I advice everyone to cease and desist from making further unruly action and to disperse quietly. I am giving everyone ten full seconds to do so before I use any equipment such as tear gas or rubber bullets or a baton which I am fully authorized to use for the safety of the whole community! TEN... NINE... EIGHT... SEVEN... SIX... FIVE... "

Before I could count to four everyone stopped whatever kind of commotion they were causing and dispersed quietly.

Some people went back to the pool and some went to the lounging chairs while others just stood against the railings.

I noticed a slim young man climbing out of the pool holding on to a bleeding elbow.

I approached him immediately.

"Sir, please sit over by that bench and wait while I page the nurse to come over from the infirmary to attend to you," I addressed him.

"It's alright," he assured me, "I can take care of it myself."

"Don't be stubborn," I scolded him, "we don't want you developing an infection while you're on this ship."

"Alright," I heard him say but I noticed that he was frowning.

No, he was pouting more than frowning, how childish. It wasn't like he was a middle schooler who could pout at a strict teacher.

I guess I shouldn't have put on a scolding kind of tone on him.

Looking carefully at his face, I found it very attractive.

I shook my head. Why was I entertaining such a crazy thought.

"What?" I heard him say in protest, "I have already done what you did. I'm sitting here waiting for the nurse."

"I have no idea why you're talking that way," I said in confusion, "did you hear me complaining to you?"

"Then why were you shaking your head while looking at me?" he asked.

Oh shit, he had noticed me shaking my head, but for a reason that I did not want him to know.

"How long before the nurse gets here?" he asked.

Oh shit again, because I got distracted by his looks, I had forgotten to page the nurse.

I quickly unhooked my pager from my waist band and paged the nurse.

In a few seconds the nurse rang me.

"We have an injured passenger at the poolside deck," I said, "please come over to minister to him."

"How badly is he hurt?" the nurse asked.

"I don't believe that the injury is life threatening but his elbow is bleeding," I informed the nurse.

"Okay," said the nurse, "tell him to hang in there. I will be there in a few minutes."

In a few minutes, just as the nurse promised, he came carrying an emergency kit.

I watched as the nurse cleaned the wound, and applied some antibiotic ointment on it before covering it with a dry dressing.

I was starting to get jealous as the nurse conversed with him and was actually able to make him smile.

Shit, they were conversing with each other like they were long time friends!

I decided to intervene.

"Ahem," I pretended to clear my throat as I approached them.

"So, is he gonna be alright now, Tee?" I asked the nurse.

"Of course I'm going to be alright," he answered for the nurse.

"Very well," I said to him, "you might want to get going and change into dry clothes."

"Yes," the nurse agreed with me, "it would be best for you to get out of your wet swimming trunks."

"Thank you for treating my wound," he said to the nurse with a grateful smile.

"No problem," said Tee, "take care now ..."

"Tytan, my name is Tytan" he supplied his name to the nurse.

"And I'm Tee," said the nurse, holding out his hand to Tytan which Tytan took and briefly shook .

"And I'm Mond, the security officer of this ship," I said, holding out my hand to Tytan.

I noticed the brief hesitation before he took my hand and lightly shook it before letting go quickly like my hand burnt his.

When Tee, the nurse, took his leave, I decided to change Tytan's first bad impression of me.

"Hey," I said to him, "I am not the big bad wolf that you're making me out to be."

"I didn't say you were," he defended himself.

"Well not in words, but in your attitude towards me and your facial expression," I said.

"I have to go," he said, not even trying to refute my accusation, "the nurse told me to change into dry clothes as soon as possible."

"Alright," I said, "do as you please."

As I watched him walk away, I vowed to myself that before this cruise was over, I was going to win him over to my side.
