Perth's POV

"My eyes have a hard time adjusting to the dark," Saint had told me.

"Don't worry, I'll guide you," I said, taking his hand and leading him towards the row of seats where our tickets were assigned.

I couldn't help feeling embarrassed about the rough surfaces of my hand.

His hand was so soft and smooth compared to mine. I actually felt the temptation to squeeze it.

When we reached the row of seats where we needed to sit, I let him go in first and take his seat.

Although there were several people inside the movie house, we were the only ones in our row of seats.

The movie that we were going to watch was a horror movie and it started off with an ear piercing cry which made Saint jump and grab my arm.

I laughed.

"Hey, it's just a movie," I said, but I allowed him to continue holding on to my arm until he felt secure enough to let go.

Saint's POV

I was glad that the horror movie had started out with a loud ear piercing cry which had startled me and had made me grab Perth's hand instinctively.

It had given me a chance to make physical contact with him again.

I remember feeling empty after he had let go of my hand to let me go inside the row of seats where we needed to be seated.

I was starting to feel ashamed of myself. Why was I getting attracted to this handsome guy who I do believe is much younger than I am.

Somehow he made me feel secure. Somehow I felt that he would take good care of me.

The manly scent of his cologne reached my nose.

Why do I feel the need for him to put his arms around me?

I tried hard to concentrate on the movie.

The villain was gaining fast on his victim who was trying to run away from him as fast as he could.

The victim had reached a wire fence with big holes for the victim to put his feet into so that he could climb over it.

He was on the last upper hole getting ready to jump over the fence when the villain caught hold of his foot and pulled him down to the ground.

Without even realizing it, I screamed and grabbed hold of Perth's arm again.

Suddenly I felt his arm going around my shoulder.

I moved closer to him and I could sense rather than see his face smiling.

"Things will be alright in the end," he whispered to me.

For some reason I found myself leaning against him, with my head resting on his shoulder.

"I hope so," I whispered back.

Just as Perth had predicted all the conflict in the story got resolved and there was a happy ending.

I actually felt bad that the movie had ended. I was enjoying leaning against Perth's muscular body and resting my head on his broad shoulder.

I sighed as we both stood up to leave our seats.

"Would you like to join me for dinner?" he asked as we walked out of the movie house.

"Sure!" I replied instantly.

He looked at his watch. It was a half hour before six in the evening. We still had a half hour to kill before the Dining Hall opened.

We looked out through the glass walls of the foyer, looking out into the open deck. It was still raining. Not as hard as earlier but since it was still raining we could not go out into the open deck to spend our time there while waiting for the dining hall to open.

"You wanna listen to some music in my cabin?" he offered.

My heart started beating fast. We would be in the close confines of his cabin.

Temptation for physical contact could be strong. Anything could happen.

"Sure," I said, smiling bravely.

What was there to worry about. It wasn't like he was going to rape me once we got inside his cabin and he locked the door.

Wait, why was I even thinking that he would lock the door. Was I getting paranoid or was I actually hoping for it to happen.

I did not realize that Perth had already pressed the button for elevator service until the elevator doors opened and he waited for me to walk in.

We went two decks higher from where the cinema was.

His cabin was the first on the left, right after we rounded the corridor.

He fished out his key from his pocket and unlocked the door.

He stepped aside to let me in first.

"Come into my parlor," he said with a naughty smile.

Oh shit, I was aware of that nursery rhyme: "Come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly" the ending of which was the fly got trapped helplessly in the sticky spider's web.

I hesitated briefly before I bravely walked in.

He then walked inside as well.

Oh shit, I saw him turn around and heard him lock the door.

"Perth..." I started to say......

"Ssshhh..." he said, gently pushing a finger against my lips.

My heart was racing once more.

He gently turned me around to face him, with my back against the door.

"I've been wanting to do this the whole time we were in the movie house," he said, grabbing my two hands and raising them up to rest gently against the door.

"I couldn't concentrate on the movie," he was saying, "if you ask me what the movie was all about, I wouldn't be able to tell you......"

He stopped talking to plant his lips firmly against mine.
