Third Person POV

Even though Saint was mentally and physically exhausted, he could not sleep. He was back on his own soft luxurious bed, so different from the hard bed of grass that he had to sleep on while he was living on the island and yet the soft bed did not seem to give him any comfort.

He did not know what time he had finally dozed off to sleep but when he woke up he continued to feel tired which meant that he did not have quality sleep during the night.

He told his mom that he needed to buy a new phone and that he was going to try to retain his old number so that Perth could reach him if he wanted to.

Perth had given Saint his old number while they were still on the ship and so it had been registered on his phone. Saint was going to ask the wireless carrier staff to try to retrieve all his contacts and place them on his new phone.

Fortunately the wireless carrier staff was able to help Saint to retain his old number on his new phone and to retrieve his contacts.

Saint tried to call Perth's number but his call went to voicemail even before it could ring which meant that Perth had not yet set up a new phone.

Saint wandered a little bit around the mall where the wireless carrier shop was located before going up to the third floor where the Food Court was located.

Saint decided that he was going to have some Mediterranean food and so he fell in line behind someone who was waiting to make his order.

As Saint stood waiting, his phone started to ring.

Saint quickly pulled out his phone from his pocket.

His heart jumped to his throat. It was Perth calling!

"Hello," said Saint, unaware that he was gripping his phone harder than usual.

"I'm right behind you."

Saint almost fainted when he turned around and saw Perth standing behind him.

They hugged each other tightly for a very long time, unaware that the man standing in front of Saint had already walked away with his order and the staff behind the counter of the Mediterranean food booth was waiting for Saint to make his order.

In the meantime, Bas had also bought a new phone and had managed to retain his old number and retrieved his contacts. However, he was unsuccessful in his attempts to reach P'Godt.

It had already been two days since he had arrived home and he was thankful for all the amenities that he had taken for granted and which he had missed so much while he was trying to survive on the island.
