Mond's POV
I was just getting ready to end my shift when my pager beeped.
I was being paged to go to the dining hall area where there was some commotion going on, something about someone being accused of being a pedophile.
What the hell. I thought that a cruise ship would be the last place for a pedophile to be. I guess that I was wrong on this assumption.
I locked up my office and hurried down to the dining hall.
I had just gone through the entrance when, already, I saw a tall guy with his hand gripping a shorter guy's collar and had pinned him against the wall, right beside a table where a frightened looking teenage boy was sitting. The boy was wide eyed and his mouth was wide open as well.
I had to investigate who between the two older guys was accused of being a pedophile.
I approached the teenage boy.
"Do you know any of these two men?" I asked.
He nodded, his lower lip trembling and looking like he was ready to cry.
"Which of these two had molested you?" I asked.
"No one," he replied in such a soft frightened voice that I could hardly hear him.
"I was having dinner with him (pointing to the taller guy) and then that other guy came in and started accusing him of being a pedophile so then he (again pointing to the taller guy) got upset and grabbed him and pinned him to the wall," the teenage boy explained.
"This friend of yours, has he touched you in any part of your body that made you feel uncomfortable?" I had to ask, as part of my investigation.
The teenage boy shook his head vigorously.
I left the boy and walked over to the two men by the wall.
"Hey!" I called out, "let go of him. Right now!"
The taller guy looked around and judged by my uniform that I was the ship's security officer.
He reluctantly let go of the shorter guy. He gave him one last hard push against the wall before releasing his hold on his collar.
"So what happened here?" I asked neither one of them in particular.
The taller guy answered first.

"I was eating peacefully with my friend right there, when this idiot walked in and started accusing me of being a pedophile. He then started yelling to everyone in this hall to call for a security officer."
