Third Person POV

"Can I take a shower with you?" Copter asked Mew, his heart pounding at a dangerously elevated rate.

Copter could not believe his ears when Mew looked at him long and hard before saying, "I never shower with anyone. I always shower alone."

"Are you rejecting me?" Copter asked wide eyed in shock.

"Don't look at it as rejection," Mew replied, "showering alone is just one of my idiosyncrasies."

"And how many more idiosyncrasies should I know about?" Copter asked angrily, feeling totally rejected even if Mew denied it.

"I don't really know offhand but this is one of them, sorry," Mew replied, already stepping into his bathroom and closing the door, even locking it for good measure.

Copter did not wait for Mew to finish with his shower to give him the courtesy of a by your leave. He quickly moved towards the door, opened it and walked out of the cabin, slamming the door shut, hoping that it sounded loud enough for Mew to hear.

He walked blindly and hurriedly out into the corridor, tears welling up in his eyes. Never in his whole life had anybody ever rejected him. It was too much for his pride to take.

"Slow down, buddy," someone said as he bumped into that someone, who held him by the shoulder to keep him from tripping.

For those who don't know him, his name is Art Pakpoom. He was one of the main actors in What the Duck the series, and he and Mew used to be inseparable and then their break up happened.

"Sorry," Copter muttered, keeping his face down so that the stranger could not see his tears.

"Not a problem," the stranger said, "but hey, if you don't mind my asking, where are you off to in such a hurry?"

Copter wanted to say 'none of your goddamned business' as he lifted his head to look at the stranger's face for the first time, but changed his mind and said, "Nowhere in particular. I was just upset about something and wanted to leave the source of my annoyance as quickly as possible."

"Hey, I am on my way to nowhere in particular myself," the stranger said, "you wanna join me, wherever it is that our noses will lead us?"

"I'm thinking of getting some comfort food," Copter said, realizing that his stomach was still empty because he had taken only a few forkfuls of the ramen that Mew had given him earlier.

"Actually I've had breakfast already because I'm an early riser, but I could join you at the breakfast hall for another cup of coffee on my part," the stranger remarked.
