Smoking a cigarette in bed with Corrie sleeping curled up on his chest, Jax ponders over the events of the last week. The Sons are way over their head with the cartel shit, he thought it'd only be mulling drugs, but so far they've lost men, Juice has gone crazy after killing Miles; and Bobby has demanded a leadership vote. He wants Clay gone, so do a lot of the other guys, but Clay won't go down without a bloody fight.

"I can hear you thinking from over here baby" Corrie's groggy voice snaps him out of his thoughts. He looks down to her, her naked body warm against his bare chest.

"I'm sorry, go back to sleep"

Corrie frowns and pulls herself up so she can look at him, she strokes his cheek making him lean into her touch.

"Baby talk to me" She whispers, "Is this about the cartel?"

"Shit has gotten bad. Dangerous, we're way over our head with this."

Corrie frowns, "cartel targets family, do we need to get Abel out of Charming?"

"No, no, no" Jax whispers, stroking her naked back, "I won't let anything happen to my family. I promise"

Corrie kisses the tattoo of Abel's name on his chest, "I know you will protect us, but I need you to protect yourself as well. I can't bear the thought of losing you Jax. Every time you walk out of that door I'm scared. I need you alive, Abel needs you alive and..." She pauses with a smile, "Your unborn baby needs you alive"

Jax does a double take, suddenly he forgets about the danger of the cartel and the shit that comes with it and he gasps at her. Corrie is biting her lip, nervously glancing up at him. She found out she was pregnant two days ago. Her period was late, and she's been feeling sick every morning. She finally took a piss test and when it read positive she went to the hospital and got her bloodwork done. She's pregnant – one month.

"My unborn baby?" he whispers, tears form in his crystal blue eyes, "You're pregnant?"

Corrie nods, her own green eyes filling with tears, "it's soon. Only one month, but I'm pregnant. I found out on Wednesday."

"You're pregnant" Jax beams, "We're happy about this right?"

"I am... are you?" Corrie smiles up at him, he beams and hovers over her, "I am more than happy. We're having a baby, baby!"

"I found this in Jax's house, it fell out of one of Abel's colouring books. It must have been in Corrie's bag." Gemma tells Clay, he frowns and reads over the words on the Ashby Provisions note.

The truth about your father is in these letters.

Make John proud.

Maureen

"Shit!" Clay bellows, "Piney has been threatening me with these letters, wants me to shut down the cartel deal."

"You think Corrie told her father?" Gemma asks, she doesn't want to believe it. Corrie won't do anything to jeopardize the club, or well that's what Gemma would like to believe but ever since Corrie fell pregnant she's been having doubts on staying in Charming.

"Or she gave him the goddamn letters. The content that Corrie and Piney both know could break open a very dangerous can of worms."

"She won't tell" Gemma insists, Clay snorts

"Of course she will tell Jax. If he finds out I killed his old man while bedding his mother he will take my gavel"

"What are you gonna do Clay?"

"I'm protecting both of us."

Clay and Jax have just finished a meet with Romeo, Jax is busy calling the prospects for an update on the warehouse where their drugs are stashed when Clay walks out with Romeo.

"Do we have a problem?" the Spanish man asks

"We have an internal threat" Clay murmurs lowly making sure Jax is out of hearing reach, "Corrie Winston, she's the owner of Donna's Gallery. She knows some...sensitive information that can bring down SAMCRO. I'm sorry about this Romeo."

"Miss Winston... that's your VP's old lady?"

"Yeah"

Romeo nods, "We'll handle it, just continue with our deal."

"You got it" Clay shakes his hand just when Jax walks out. Romeo gets in his car and drives off, "Everything okay?" the blonde asks his stepfather.

"Everything's perfect son"
