Chapter 64

Corrie wakes up first the next morning; Jax is still flushed against her body. She gently unties his arms around her which turned out to be an impossible task since his arms are wrapped extremely tight around her body. Jax stirs but wraps his arms even tighter causing her to roll her eyes. "Jackson" she whispers softly, "I have to pee"

He groans and buries his head deeper into her neck. "Sweetheart, come on" she groans and pushes on his arms.

"No" he whines

"I'll come back, I promise. Just let me up"

He groans while he moves off her. "Just hurry up"

She chuckles and moves off the bed. She does her business before getting into bed again. Jax immediately wraps his arms around her. "No more liquid before bed"

Corrie laughs loudly, "Alright babe, next time I'll drink my pills dry"

He smirks sleepily. She turns her head to kiss his lips, "No. No. Stay with me" she whispers when his eyes close again.

"I tired" he drawls out

"I tired?" she raises an eyebrow in amusement

"Shhh" he scolds and falls asleep with his face buried in her neck. Corrie giggles while grabbing a pad and pencil. She starts drawing her most favourite topic – Jax.

Jax is finally awake after two hours of snoring loudly in Corrie's ear. He immediately reaches for a cigarette. He lights it up while offering one to Corrie. "No thanks"

"What? Since when did you stop smoking?"

"I just had heart surgery babe."

He shrugs, "Mind if I do?"

Corrie cracks a grin, "Go for it"

The doorbell rings, disturbing the couple. "I've got it" Jax says and gets out of bed. He walks to the front door and opens it to reveal Chibs.

"Sorry brother, know it's early."

"It's fine, come in. You want coffee?"

"Thanks"

Jax hands him a cup of coffee and sits down with his own.

Chibs sighs, "Rat Bastard is missing bro. wanted to bring him to the table. Neighbours haven't seen him either"

Jax snarls, "Probably split after he was here last night. We have to find him, a rat that disappears is dangerous"

"We 'ave to talk about what we'll do when we find him"

The president sighs, "We take him to the table; and we'll decide then."

Corrie walks into the kitchen slowly, she's still in a lot of pain. Chibs stands up when he sees her and smiles as she gives him a kiss on the cheek. "Hey Chibbies"

"Hey darling. How do you feel?"

"I'm okay. I'd love to join you boys but I'm just going to lie down"

Jax frowns when he looks at the discomfort on her face, "Are you okay?"

"I'm not feeling too well. I'm just going to drink my meds and pass out"

Chibs laughs, "Sounds like a good idea. I'll see you at the club house bro; Cor love, hope you feel better soon" he presses a kiss to her cheek and leaves the house. Jax frowns as he looks at the pain on her face. "You're not in pain when you lie down"

"I'll be fine babe. This is normal" She caresses his face as worry seep on his facial expression. Corrie drinks her pills and down them with water. With the help of Jax, she walks into the living room and lies down on the couch.

"Must I call the doctor?" Jax asks as he bends down on his knees to attend to her. He strokes her face soothingly.

"I'll be fine" She whispers and kisses Jax on the lips. "Will you stay with me?"

"Of course I will" He smiles at her and lies down next to her. "Sleep baby, I'm here"

Hey guys. 64 chapters in and I haven't even introduced myself to you awesome folks out there. I am obsessed with Jax Teller and the Sons.

My story, as you all know by now, is based loosely on SOA.
