Corrie's POV

It bothers me that Jax's new VP is Bobby and not Opie, not because Bob isn't an amazing VP and member, but that Jax and Opie's friendship have suffered because of the shit with Clay. Opie isn't even sure he wants to be part of the club anymore. I know it's not my place to stick my nose in, and normally I wouldn't but Opie is my brother and I know he can't survive without this club.

The boys are going in tomorrow, Jax swears they have protection but that Pope dude sounds extremely dangerous so I have the right to be terrified.

We haven't told anyone that we're engaged, club business have always trumped over that. I want to tell everyone before the guys go to prison. That is why I'm planning a family dinner tonight.

I finish up my orders and lock my office. It's 5pm and I'm ready to lock up and get my son and go home.

I lock up the gallery and drive off to the club house where Abel is hanging out with Unser. I park my car next to Gemma's and walk to Unser's trailer. He's sitting outside with Abel on his lap. "Mama" Abel babbles when he sees me.

"Hey my baby boy" he reaches for me and I pick him up, twirling him around before settling him on my hip. Wayne stands up and smiles at me, "Thanks for hanging out with this booger today" I tell Unser and he grins, "Always, he's a good kid.

I walk up to the office when Gemma walks out, "You ready to go?" I ask her, she's going with me and Abel grocery shopping for tonight's dinner.

Gemma nods and we drive off to the store. She gets Abel out and puts him in his pram, we start loading in groceries for tonight and I even buy extras for the rest of the week. "I didn't even think tattle tale you could keep such a big secret" I tease Gemma; she's the only one that knows Jax and I are engaged – only because I couldn't keep it a secret.

"Shut it" She smirks and points a ham in my face, "What do you plan on making tonight?"

"You're not helping?" I raise an eyebrow, "I'm helping you buy groceries. You can prepare dinner for your engagement party"

I chuckle and nod, accepting it; "you think the guys will be protected inside Gem?

"If Jax says they will be, they will be. It'll be okay, everything always is"

Corrie's ring

**

Opie storms into my house right when I get home. I put Abel in his play pen and attend to my raging brother.
"What's going on?" I ask him, figuring it has something to do with Jax.

"I just came from Red Woody, God Corrie, I now know how Donna felt" I smirk at him, my brother hates Lyla's line of work. She invited me one day for coffee and I was early so I watched her...er, perform. I can understand why he doesn't like her job but it's not like she can stop working – she needs to take care of her son.

"I don't know what to say" I tell him, giving him a cup of coffee. I start packing the groceries in the cupboards and fridge.

"She's taking birth control pills"

I sigh, "I'm sorry Ope."

"All this time I've been trying to make another kid and she's been killing it off."

"Do you really need another kid?" it's an honest question. He already has Kenny and Ellie who are yearning for his attention and Lyla has Piper.

Opie sighs, aggravated and frustrated at me, "I don't know! It's supposed to keep us together!"

"A baby isn't supposed to keep you together, Opie, your relationship should be strong enough to do that. You have two children who both yearn for your attention. They don't need a sibling now, they need their father. If you can't accept Lyla's job, then tell her. Don't string her along"
