Day two of their belated honeymoon starts early the morning with Corrie preparing breakfast while Jax keeps her company. She's making pancakes; scrambled eggs and bacon.
"Eat up" Corrie hands him a plate. She kisses his head as he digs in. Corrie sits down in front of him with her own, much smaller plate.
"I'm glad I married you, you make delicious food." Jax mumbles
Corrie rolls her eyes, "Yeah, I'm awesome."
"Aren't you going to say you're glad you married me?"
She cracks a smile at his pouting, "I'm glad I married you"
"Why are you glad you married me?"
"Because you're hot" She deadpans him. He seems satisfied with that, well, that's no surprise to Corrie. She knows his ego is the size of the fucking moon.
"I really am."

Gemma finishes her last bottle of whiskey and stumbles to her car. She's drunk – wasted – and angry.
She's angry at Corrie for keeping Abel away from her
She's pissed at the fact that she's been shunned from her family.
She made one mistake, and the bitch continues to punish her for it. Well not anymore, today is the day Gemma gets her family back, if someone stands in her way she'll trample them down.
The matriarch snarls when she spots the couple through the window of their house. Jax didn't even bat an eye when his whore of a wife demanded for Gemma to be out of the picture. How can Corrie have him wrapped around her finger like this?
She's just an old lady – an old lady should respect her man, be submissive to him. Not the other fucking way around.
She puts the letter on the front seat of Corrie's car and drives off.
Corrie won't get away with this. Gemma will have Abel in her claws soon.

You're a dead bitch. You won't get away with this. I will find you, and I will kill you.

"I can't believe our weekend is over" Corrie complains, the couple are wrapped up in each other outside on the lounger. They haven't moved from the house since Friday evening, Corrie wishes for weekends like this every weekend. She loves having her husband with her 24/7.
"Let's not switch on our phones, stay like this forever."
Corrie chuckles, "That sounds perfect."
Jax sighs deeply and kisses her cheek, "I know I said I'm fine with waiting, but I really want you pregnant. You, me, Abel and a baby. A perfect family."
"I want that too Jax" Corrie whispers, "But I'm scared to have a baby in a war zone. I need you to promise me that you'll sort out all shit before we get a baby."
"I will not let my family get hurt Cor, I swear that on Opie's grave"
Corrie nods, "We have to go get Abe"
"Alright, let's take your car."
The blonde rolls her eyes, "So bossy. I'm driving though"
Jax groans, "Better call Lyla and tell her we'll be there in a week's time."
"You're an idiot"
"I'm your idiot" He counters with a grin. Jax smiles when Corrie kisses his lips.
Jax stands up first and pull Corrie up, he gives her a kiss when she's his height and then lead her out to the driveway. Corrie opens the driver's door. Her eyes immediately spot the letter. She freezes in fright and shock.
"J-Jax?" She struggles to get out, he frowns and dashes to her side. His jaw clench when he reads the letter. "When was the last time you drove?"
"Friday afternoon" She whispers, "I forgot to lock my car, I-I almost never do."
Jax grabs the letter out of her shaking hand, "I'll figure out who wrote this, I swear."
"This is a goddamn death threat delivered to my front door Jax, this is why we can't have a baby right now."
"I'll handle it Corrine" He insists, "I told you I won't let anything happen to my family and I meant it."
Corrie's face scrunches up in sadness. Jax pulls her into his body and comforts her. She's scared but she's not alone.
