15 days since Opie's wake

After popping her morning pills, Corrie gets Abel ready for the day. She's finally going back to work needing something to keep her mind off her personal life.

"You want to go to the gallery buttercup?" Corrie asks Abel as she dresses him in chinos and a blue button up shirt.

"Where's daddy?" He asks so innocently.

She stops in her movements and swallow as she stares at the innocent boy who knows of no harm and danger.

"Daddy is... working"

"Can we see him?"

Corrie frowns, she can never deny him. "We'll go see him"

Corrie smiles at her and turns to his football. "I take the football uncle Opie gave me"

Corrie's dam breaks, tears run down her cheeks but Abel is distracted by his toys. "Y-yeah, take it with you."

Abel hugs his mother, "Are you sad?"

"You make me happier buttercup" she kisses his chubby arms and pulls him up the bed. She puts him on the floor and the two walk out of the house.

Corrie drives them off to the club house and is sad when she doesn't see Jax's bike.

"It looks like daddy isn't back yet bubba. Let's go say hi to grandma while I get him on the phone alright?"

"Allight"

Abel runs into the office where Gemma is sitting

"Gramma!" he yells and hugs her when she stands up. "Hey baby"

Corrie walks in to the office, she hasn't seen Gemma since that night of Opie's wake. "Hi Gem"

"Hi sweetheart"

"Mind looking after him for a bit while I go look for Jax?" She asks softly

Gemma nods, "Of course. How's the hand Corrie?"

Corrie smirks, "Fine."

Corrie leans down and kisses Abel, "Mama will be back in a while; you'll be good for grandma?"

"Yah mama" Abel smiles

"Thanks" Corrie whispers and walks out of the office. She starts her car and drives around Charming.

Corrie's breath hitches in her throat when she sees his bike parked at Diosa. "Oh please God no."

Please do not cheat on me; please do not cheat on me; please do not cheat on me.

Corrie walks into Diosa; a skinny brunette greets her by the door.

"What can I help you with honey?
Corrie stutters, "Uh, I'm looking for someone. A guy, part of the Sons, he's uh here"

"I can't give out information about our clients, honey."

"Please" Corrie pleads, "I just need... I'm not looking for trouble."

"Can I help you?" The same man that Corrie saw with Gemma – Nero – walks towards her

"You're Gemma's daughter in law" He states

"I uh, not yet, hopefully soon" she mumbles, "Is Jax here? I saw his bike. I need to talk to him"

Nero has a look of sympathy in his eyes for the fragile blonde. She looks so distraught and scared.

"You're not going to like where he is el carino."

"Please just tell me" She whispers

He sighs loudly, "Room 212"

She thanks him and walks upstairs. Her heart is pounding louder with every step she makes, she's out of her mind scared of what she might find. Her demands when they started their relationship were that he would never cheat on her, she knows she lost him the moment Opie died. Yet, she doesn't want to believe that she has lost him. She's willing to overlook the possible infidelity if he tells her he loves her.

All she wants is to be married to him.
