Lyla pours herself another glass of wine as she sits next to Corrie in the club house. The two are doing the finishing touches of Corrie's wedding to Jax while the latter are out doing club business. After the shooting, Corrie ended their full disclosure agreement. She's finally okay, still in pain but okay to walk around and much to Jax's delight, to have sex again.

"Ugh, I hate you. I can't wait to drink again" Corrie complains pouting as Lyla takes a sip of her wine. The girl giggles, "When are you getting off your meds?"

"In a week, hopefully" She sighs, "The discomfort eased up"

"I'm glad Cor, you know you can tell me if you don't feel well even if you don't want to tell Jax"

"I know" Corrie smiles, "I still get out of breath quickly if I walk and I know I'm not unfit. I'll ask the doctor when I have my appointment"

"Good" Lyla grins, "So back to the wedding. Everything is arranged, except for..." She stops talking and sighs sadly as her eyes hold sympathy.

"Except for what?"

"Cor, who's going to give you away?"

**

Corrie left the club house in a fury after she realized she has nobody to give her away. Lyla hasn't heard from her since. That was four hours ago.

Jax walks into the club house after a meet with the Chinese. He smirks when he sees the wedding book on the bar table.

"Hey Ly" he kisses his best friend's widow on the forehead, "Where's my girl?"

"I don't know Jax" She frowns, "I think she finally figured out that Ope and Piney aren't here and won't be here for the wedding. She left, I have no idea where she is"

"Ah shit" He whispers, "I uh, I think I know where she is"

**

Jax parks the bike at the gallery. He walks in and sees Corrie sitting down on the couch with her face buried in her hands.

"Babe" He whispers as he sits down next to her. "Where's Diana?"

"I send her home"

He sighs and grabs her hand while playing with her fingers. "Lyla told me what happened"

Corrie finally looks at him; tears are running down her face as mascara stains her cheeks. "Opie was supposed to give me away"

Jax sighs deeply and pulls her body in his as she cries on his chest. "My family is really gone"

"I know"

"I wish I never left for college. I missed out on so many years with my dad; Don and Opie. I should've stayed for them but I was so goddamn selfish"

He shakes his head in protest, "that is not true. You know they supported your choice to go to college. They were so proud of you"

"I was never there for her when Ope went to prison" Corrie whispers distraught, the tears flow down her cheeks while she shakes her head in agony.

"Corrine, that's total bullshit. Stop it. You were there for her – maybe not in flesh but you were calling her like 13 times each day. She knew you were there for her. Stop blaming yourself for things in the past. It won't bring them back. Donna; Ope and your dad would want you to be happy. We're getting married, be happy. You deserve to be happy."

The blonde girl smiles through her tears and kisses his cheek, "Thanks"

He runs his fingers through her hair, "I love you crazy girl. Are you okay now?"

"I am" She smiles, "I think I want to ask Bobby to give me away"

"Bobby?" He furrows his eyebrows

Corrie nods her head, "He was there for me when Opie died. Helped me through the depression and anxiety"

Jax swallows, depression and anxiety. It's still fresh in his mind that he couldn't help her, that he couldn't prevent her depression and anxiety; that he couldn't reduce her heartache.

"I'm sorry" he whispers hoarsely. He made a shitty situation a thousand times worse when he cheated and slapped her.

"I love you Jackson. Thanks for being the man I always dreamed you'd be"
