Chapter 53

"I like impromptu sex with you in your office" Jax whispers in her ear

Corrie giggles, "I like it too. Hey babe, will you pick up Abel today? I'm going for a coffee date with Lyla and the kids."

Jax smiles, "Yeah I'll do that. The boy and I can have a day together at the park"

Corrie grins, "He'd like that. Thanks gorgeous. I'll see you at home"

Jax spends the rest of the day with Abel at the park and then decide to do something nice for Corrie by preparing dinner. All he can really make is lasagne.

"Daddy, can I help?" Abel asks jumping onto the kitchen chair. "Of course son, you can start by washing the tomatoes alright?"

"Okay" Abel grins and takes the tomatoes out of the package, he looks so damn proud of his task.

Jax smirks and prepares the meat in layers. "Done!"

"Alright, well done son, you can stir these. There shouldn't be any bubbles"

"No bubbles" he repeats to himself the entire time he stirs. Jax toss the tomatoes into another layer followed by the dry pasta. He takes the sauce out of Abel's hand when the boy's done, and pours it all over the food.

Jax holds his hand up for a high five and Abel complies with a loud giggle. "Mommy will be so pwoud of us" Abel giggles

"Yeah she will" Jax smiles, "Hey, son, you want to go swimming?"

Abel nods eagerly, "I go put on my swimming tlunks!"

Jax grins at the retrieving back of his three year old. He walks into his bedroom and grabs his own swimming trunks and wait for his son in the living room. Abel comes back in a jiff with his Ben Ten towel and Batman swimming trunks.

"Look at you!" Jax grins, "Let's go swimming"

Jax toss a laughing Abel into the swimming pool, he jumps in after. Abel splashes his dad with the water.

"Hey!" Jax laughs and splashes back. Jax is rarely this happy when he's not with Corrie and Abel. His little family is the only thing keeping his head above water.

Corrie smells the delicious aroma of lasagne scenting the house; with a grin she checks the oven and sees the lasagne is cooked. She turns off the oven and walks further into the house to find her family. She hears Abel giggling outside. Corrie's heart swells when she sees them swimming.

She grins and runs to put her own bikini on.

"Cannonball" She screams and jumps into the water. When she surfaces Jax and Abel both pounce on her.

Corrie giggles as Abel splashes her

Jax beams and kisses her as Abel swim around them, "My perfect family"
