"Hi this is Corrie, I 'm not available right now. Leave a message and I'll get back to you"

A tear falls down his cheek as Corrie's voicemail plays in his ear for the 15th time. He has tried to call her since the afternoon when he... hit her.

Jax still can't wrap his head around the fact that he hit her, he's not Clay. He doesn't abuse women; he doesn't abuse Corrie. Jax knows deep down he's lost her but he won't admit it to himself. After all these years, he's not going to lose her over an accident. He can't. He can't live without her.

"Hey babe, uh, um, it's me again. I uh, I'm sorry Cor. I don't know what happened – I don't... I didn't mean it. I'm so sorry. Will you please... uh... call me? Please. I uh, I love you so much. Please, call me. I'm begging you"

In a fit of rage Jax throws his cell phone to the farthest wall watching with tears in his eyes how the phone breaks in pieces. A knock on the door startles him, Bobby pokes his head in.

"Juice made contact." He eyes the phone and Jax's red puffy eyes. "Everything alright?"

The president ignores him and stands up, "Let's go."

Juice curses under his breath, the documents he found in Clay's attic disappeared. It was there an hour ago.

Jax's anger is apparent; he is no mood to deal with a lying shit like Juice. The anger and hates he feels for himself gets transferred immediately to Juice.

"They were here Jax, I swear. Birth certificates; deeds; all kinds of shit"

"What kinda shit?" Bobby asks. The president doesn't say anything; but the silence is dangerous. Juice tries to convince him that the documents he wanted the Porte Rican to find was all up in the attic, he's not sure how he'll be able to explain why it has disappeared.

"The Nomads gave Clay back all the legal shit from the safe they jacked." Jax murmurs exasperated; his patience is wearing thinner by the second.

"Where'd it go?" Chibs directs his question to Juice.

Juice stays silent; he's not sure how to answer any of the questions. His future with the club is on the line; his life is on the line. If he doesn't find those documents, Jax will go to the table and they will call for a mayhem vote.

"Was he back in the house?" Jax asks

"Yeah. You told us to meet you here" Juice over-persuades his president.

"You left him alone when I didn't show"

"Yeah" Juice whispers; ashamed.

Jax tried to control his anger; but after this afternoon's events with Corrie; the fact that Clay seems to be always one step ahead; and Juice's unbelievable foolishness, the dam breaks; he can't stop his anger from bubbling to the surface. He punches Juice as hard as he can; the smaller man falls to the ground with a bloody nose.

"Get up. Get up" Chibs instructs him

"Go home Juice" Jax murmurs dangerously.

"I'm sorry" he cries as Chibs pulls him by the cover out of the door.

Bobby's pissed. From day one he's been against the revenge on Clay. He wants Clay dead for the sins he committed, but Jax is getting off on a mindless; dangerous war.

"You've enlisted him in your war on Clay. You didn't want to bring the rat to the table"

Jax sits down on the sofa in the living room as Bobby continues preaching to him; he lights up a cigarette since it's the only fucking thing that can calm him down right now.
