After a dramatic phone call that she's bored to death, Jax brought over Corrie's stash of art supplies to the hospital when he was visiting earlier. She's busy drawing a landscape of flowers for Gemma's house; having already finished half of her drawing pads due to complete boredom.

Betsy, Corrie's favourite nurse, walks into the room with a big grin on her face. "How's my favourite patient doing today?"

"You're awfully chirpy for someone who worked night shift" Corrie observes. The red haired nurse grins, "I get to go home now. Where's that hot fiancé of yours?"

Corrie shrugs, "He split when I told him I wanted to draw him. Said I've drawn him enough times"

Betsy chuckles, "How are you doing today? How's the pain level from 1 to 10?"

"I'm good. Pain is probably around 4. When can I go home?"

Betsy writes something down in the file, "That's for Doctor Nimue to decide."

"Tell him I'm fine to go home and I'm driving you through the walls."

Betsy chuckles, "I'll see what I can do. Have a lovely day Corrie. I'll see you tomorrow morning"

"Bye Betsy!" She calls to the retreating nurse.

Corrie has just finished drawing the 13th sketch today; having used up all of her pads now when Jax walks in with a fresh supply of pads and pencils.

"My hero" She beams. He leans down to kiss her on the lips.

"Where in that hot brain of yours do you store all these ideas?" He teases as he looks through the drawings.

"I'm full of surprises. Did you bring me candy?"

Jax chuckles at her, "I did not. Would my little artist like some candy?"

"Some chocolate and gummy worms would be nice" She flutters her eyes at him causing him to roll his. "Fine, I'll go down to the cafeteria"

"You really are my hero" Corrie grins and kisses him, "Thank you baby"

"Anything for you" He says sincerely and leaves the room. Corrie squeals softly at her new drawing pad and pencils. At least, she has something to do to kill the time until Doctor Nimue decides she can go home.

Jax shakes his head at the fact that he's now standing in a very busy cafeteria with three packets of gummy worms and seven chocolate slabs in his hands. Only Corrie would be able to flutter her eyes and he'd do literally anything for her.

"Sweet tooth?" the woman in front of him asks him. "For my girl" he stresses, "She's in the hospital"

"Oh I'm sorry honey" The beach blonde flutters her eyes, "Girlfriend? I don't see no wedding ring"

He rolls his eyes and sighs; he can't wait for his turn to pay so he can get away from the prying woman.

"Fiancée. We're getting married in October."

She nods, "Well, if you ever need a night away from your fiancée, call me." She winks and walks away. He stares at the card in his hands with just a phone number on and rolls his eyes. Jax rips the card up and throws it in the dustbin in the corner. It's finally his turn to pay and then gets the hell out of the cafeteria. Oh, he's going to get so lucky when he tells Corrie what just happened.
