Corrie makes up her mind, she pulls off her ring. Jax freezes; the nausea building up in his throat. She puts her ring in his shaking palm.

She cries softly as she listens to Jax's shaky breathing. He's trying to keep his emotions in check but it's becoming more difficult. He's losing her, she's leaving him. He fucked up and now he's paying the price.

"No, no, no, no" he keeps on whispering as he feels his heart break in tiny pieces. Life as he knows it is shattering right in front of him. His world is leaving him.

"Ask me again"

Jax frowns, "What?"

Corrie gives him a breathtakingly dimpled smile; she wipes his eyes clear of any tears.

"Ask me to marry you again"

"I-I-I uh, I-I th-thought you're leaving me. You're not... you're not l-leaving me?"

Corrie kisses his forehead, "You're right, I know you. I know the man you are, you're not anything like Clay and Piney. You made a mistake; you were grieving. Please tell me cheating on me was a one-time thing"

"Of course it was, I won't do it again, I swear"

Corrie smiles, "You've never been abusive, I know it was an accident. So, ask me to marry you again because I love you and I miss you and I freaking forgive you"

Jax splutters out in relief and delirious happiness. "You're taking me back?" He whispers in awe, his eyes swim in a river full of tears.

Corrie sniffs, "I am. If you'll have me"

I'll always want you" Jax's hands continue shaking as he fumbles with the ring. He gets down on one knee and holds her hands in his, his eyes locked on hers. "Corrine Winston, will you marry me?"

Corrie beams at him, "Of course I will"

Jax sobs loudly as he puts the ring back on her finger; Jax promises himself while putting the ring on her finger that he will never get this close to losing her again.

"Kiss me Jackson" She whispers almost inaudibly.

He puts his hands on either side of her face and brings their lips closer together. Corrie deepens the kiss and throws her arms around his neck.

"I love you" He whispers to her, his heart doing flip flops. They haven't kissed like this since before he went to prison.

God, it feels like an eternity when he last held her like this and kissed her like this. It's only been a month but so much shit has happened.

Opie died; he cheated on her; he hurt her. He never thought he'd be this close to her again.

"I love you too baby"

Corrie smiles at him and he beams back at her; his eyes find hers, the love in hers brings him into a tailspin. How can someone like her love someone like him?

She strokes his face and pecks his forehead as his eyes flutter close, she's his comfort; his safety. He feels at peace when he's with her.

Corrie pulls him into another kiss, their lips moulding together in sync. "Let's take the boy and go home?" Jax asks her in a whisper.

"I want to go somewhere first" She replies back in a whisper, her lips grazing his own. "Abel's fine with Gemma, let's go somewhere"

Jax grins and stands up. He holds out his hand for her to take and she does without any resistance.

"Daddy! You said sorry!"

Jax laughs as Abel runs up to them. He nods his head, "You were right buddy, mama is very forgiving"

Corrie smiles and kisses Jax's cheek. She crouches down and kisses Abel's lips. "Are you okay to stay with grandma while daddy and I run some errands buttercup?"

Abel grins, "Yah mama. I play with uncle Chibs in the glach"

"The garage buddy" Jax corrects him and Abel rolls his eyes, he hates it when someone corrects him. "Bye mama, bye daddy!"
