chapter eighty-six; real life

Today was the day.

The day that Blake and Olivia were finally tying the knot.

I was currently sitting with her, laughing at something she had said.

"But seriously, what if I puke? I'm so nervous, it's not okay."

"Olivia, you will be fine. I had the same worry, and I didn't."

"But you were pregnant."

"I know I was, so it was a little bit worse for me."

She sighs. "Okay, I'm good. I'm not going to throw up from being nervous."

"Besides, you have nothing to be nervous about. Blake-"

"What if I say my vows wrong? What if-"

"Olivia!" I chuckle. "Seriously. Blake isn't going to care if you mess up your vows, and he's obviously going to ask if you're okay if you somehow manage to fall down the stairs."

"You're right. I just need to stop thinking about all of the things that could happen."

"You're going to do great."

She smiles before grabbing her phone.

"Oh! It's almost time. Can you see if Blake is ready? I know he tends to be late."

I chuckle. "I'll be right back."

I stand up, walking down the hall to the room the boys are in. I hear laughter through the door, so I knock loudly.

"Who is it?"

"Who do you think?"

George opens up the door. "What's up?"

"Have you guys seen what time it is?"

He looks over at the clock. "Oh my god. Blake, you need to get ready!"

I watch as he and Reece begin to throw different items at Blake, who was running around wildly looking for his other shoe.

"Oh god. What were you guys even doing?"

"I was writing my vows."

"Just now?"

"No, about twenty minutes ago. Then we got into the conversation of your husband on your guys' wedding day. Started laughing at how Reece overthought everything that day."

"I did too."

"How's Liv doing?" Blake looks up at me, a small smile in his eyes.

"Nervous."

"Nervous? Why is she-"

"She's worried she's going to trip, somehow ruin her dress, mess up her vows, and-"

"I don't care if she does any of that. I'm still marrying her."

"And that's exactly what I told her. Now get ready. You have like five minutes. If you aren't ready I'm burning all of your socks."

His eyes widen. "What did my socks ever do to you?"

I shrug. "It's the first thing that came to mind. I'll still do it if you're not ready."

"On it."

"Damn."

I look up at reece, smiling at him.

I go to shut the door, but Reece stops me and pulls me into the hall.

"What's up?"

"Stop being so hot."
