chapter seventy-two; real life

We walk inside the venue, looking around for Olivia. She's supposed to sneak us into the arena where the boys won't see us.

But that might be a little hard since there's currently a meet and greet going on.

"Uh, what do we do?" Emily asks.

"I have no idea. I just hope that Hunter doesn't-"

"DADA!!"

"Do that..." I trail off, knowing that Reece might spot us at any moment.

Hunter giggles excitedly as he points towards Reece, who was talking to a fan.

"Thank god he didn't notice."

"No kidding."

"Dada?"

"Not yet Hunter, I promise."

Hunter's face drops, making me want to take him to the line so we can see Reece.

I hate when he's sad.

"Leah!"

Olivia pops her head out of a doorway, motioning for us to follow her.

I quickly walk into the room, happy that there's nothing tempting me.

"What are we doing here?" I ask, looking around to notice a bunch of clothes lying around.

"You guys are staying in here until the meet and greet is over."

"What? But what if they walk in here?"

"They won't. It's HRVY's dressing room, and I've already talked to him about it."

"Oh, okay."

"Don't worry, I got it covered."

"I noticed."

She smiles. "Well I better get out there and actually do my job before I get in trouble."

"Got it."

"I'll come back when they're gone."

"Okay."

She walks towards the door, but stops.

"Wait."

"What?"

"Can I film this? Like before you surprise him and everything."

"Yea, I'm just very pregnant at the moment."

"Relax, you have a few months left. You look fine."

She holds up her camera, pressing the record button.

"Uh, I don't really know what to say since I've never actually been in one of the boys' vlogs."

Emily lightly hits my arm. "Yes you have!"

"Well it hasn't actually been me talking!"

I roll my eyes.

"Anyways, today we're surprising the boys. Blake doesn't really get a surprise since his fiancée is already here."

"You're making it sound like George and I are dating."

"I am not! At least I'm not trying to!"

"Guys, hurry up. I don't want them getting suspicious." Olivia says.

"On that note, Hunter and I are surprising Reece. We-"

"Dada!"

"Yes, you get to see Dada."
